Open table app did not indicate it would be a shared table. On this occasion of a birthday sharing a table was less than ideal. My problem is the app not the restaurant.

Not what I expected at all. First visit, we walked from Halo Brewing and we expected it to be more of a casual brewery vibe, but it was more of a restobar vibe. And I wasn’t mad about it! Really cool atmosphere. Liked how dark it was. Would definitely go back to try the food, but we had already eaten so we just got some beers. Nice covered and heated patio. Our server was super nice and attentive. Tried the Cherry B sour. Super refreshing beer and a great choice for the summer. I also really liked their branding, especially the shirts worn by the servers. Unfortunately they were sold out in the bottle shop, but they are great. Simple name on the front, top left and then ducks on the back. Loved it. Would definitely return to try the food experience. Thank you for a great evening.

We met our friends who live in Toronto. Our reserved table was not comfortable for us so they very kindly switched us to another table. Our friend has an onion allergy so the waitress asked the chef about specific menu items that did not include onion and they were very good about informing us and offering to not include such ingredients. Two of us had the cheeseburger and fries which was delicious. My husband had the veal cutlet that was a large size and quite delicious. Our other friend had the lamb skewers with fries and enjoyed his meal as well. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We then went in to enjoy Rory Taillon's Show which is a lovely venue and quite intimate. Thank you Burdock Brewery for an excellent evening.

I made a reservation with a friend and we had the absolute best time here! The ambiance was amazing, staff were super friendly, beer was fantastic, service was excellent, and the FOOD omg that was the best burger and fries! We also did the tempura beans so good

I would highly recommend Burdock Brewery to anyone seeking a warm atmosphere with great service, friendly staff and a nice menu.
Service: Servers and hosts were very attentive and friendly, made frequent rounds to check on us and were social when they had time to slow down and chat.
Beer: The beer selection was 4/5 for me only because I'm picky. The Smol lager was extremely crushable, and the Vermont blond was really nice.
Food: The food selection was interesting and the portions were generous. I ordered the cheeseburger and quite enjoyed it. They offered the choice of how well done to do the burger which was a nice option, and the fries were shockingly good to the point that I finished my plate after thinking it would be too much food.
Really loved the general vibe and atmosphere here. You can't go wrong giving it a try. Well done and thanks to the great staff.

Food is great. Restaurant doesn't open until noon unlike what Open Table states. Even restaurant post hours saying it opens at 11. When they opened their doors at 12:10 there was a huge line outside so suddenly a squeeze on the kitchen. Just seems like poor planning.
My friend and I really enjoyed our time on the patio on May 9. Pippa was particularly helpful, and her beverage recommendation was excellent!

This is a product that is only good as a practical joke on someone. It tastes terrible, not sure if its the type of pickle juice used or that it is carbonated. As someone who loves pickles this is offensive. 🤢

the food and drinks were good, the service, however, was not. when we arrived, we ordered drinks and kept the food menus. our server took the food menus away after she brought our drinks (even though we were planning on ordering food), and ignored us until another server came to check on us. we explained what happened and he apologized on her behalf and gave us free drinks, which is the sole reason i’m bumping my review up a star. come time for the bill, she didn’t say a single word to us, much like our entire interaction with her. we probably won’t be back. service really makes or breaks a place for me.
