Spot on vibes here. The food was to die for! The server had an angelical chill vibe. He was lovely. Honestly can’t wait to come again.

It's a great place to have a quick or local meal, their menu caters to local ingredients which means it changes with the seasons. The only real vegetarian option listed on the menu were those in the appetizers, and it was a little bit more on the pricey side.

While service in atmosphere are great, due to the menu limitations, it'll be hard to want to further explore dining with them. A big plus is how attentive the servers were to dietary limitations and allergies.

One of our favourite places in Toronto! Beer, food and service is always top notch and it's a great place to bring friends and family from out of town to show off what's good in the city.

Decent! Wish there was more seating but they don't do anything wrong. I was only there for a brief time but what I saw was nice.

Hello, I’m genuinely sad to be writing this review. This bar has been my local spot for the past 10 years. During the pandemic, my family and I supported the bottle shop—buying bread, beer, and even merchandise—because we wanted to see this place thrive.

I’ve been a loyal customer, visiting at least once a month with my husband and son. Even this summer, after moving out of the neighborhood, we made a special effort to come back to Burdock. Unfortunately, after tonight’s experience, I don’t think we will anymore.

When we arrived, we were told that five tables at the front were being held for renovations and that our only option was to share a large table with another family. This is actually the second time this has happened—families with kids who don’t know each other are pushed together at the same table. Eventually, another family with children (also without a reservation) was seated with us.

Meanwhile, other patrons—mostly younger and without children—were offered patio seating. Inside, the front tables stayed empty for our entire meal (over an hour and a half). The four to five tables we were told were “reserved” remained unused the whole time, as no one ever arrived.

It was a very disappointing experience, especially after so many years of loyalty.

We had great food, great ambience and excellent service! I did not note our server's name unfortunately but he was excellent in all respects. We are local when our visitors from wanted us to recommend somewhere close for a meal—we knew we could rely on Burdock to make us look good (😌) AND provide an experience that showed off what local Toronto had to offer and expectations were exceeded across the board! Thanks!

Such a cute place, the staff were cool, polite and friendly. They let us stick our heads in the music venue and it looked like a super fun, young vibe. Food was incredible too - the gnocchi was awesome and they had yummy fries. Super cute patio vibe and would totally recommend.
