Food is good for a bar, but it's a bar. I tried "Beef Cheek" and it's incredibly tender, practically melts on your tongue. It's a very chill place, a nice place to hang out, cute drawings, and a esthetically pleasing design. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for a bar, but if you want dinner I would prefer to go to a different place.

My partner and I love exploring Toronto cafes on weekends, and we recently stumbled upon Café Blublu. Upon entering, there are some tables lining the wall in the front area, and then an arched hallway that leads to the main dining room. The first time we came here, we were just looking for a place to grab a drink and get some work done. I don't know if I would recommend Café Blublu as a place to work, as the "cafe" area is quite limited. We came back for brunch recently, but the brunch menu was smaller than we expected, with only 4 options for mains. I got the French Toast, while my partner got the Smoked Brisket Eggs Benny. The food was overall pretty good, and the restaurant was relatively busy on the Sunday morning. There are some specialty drinks such as the sesame latte, spiced hot chocolate, and jasmine apple tea. I noticed that my drinks both visits had quite a bit of residue, so I'm not sure if they needed to be mixed more thoroughly. I think the cafe's branding is adorable with their hand-drawn doodle logo. The staff were attentive throughout our meal. Their dinner menu looks much more interesting, so maybe we'll try that in the future.

I recently visited Cafe Blu Blu while in the area and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Upon entering, the presence of green plants and welcoming atmosphere set a refreshing tone. The dining area was spacious and minimalistic, creating a comfortable environment. Our waitress provided attentive service and assisted us with our orders without any issues. We went for the Eggs Benny and French Toast, both of which met expectations. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the French toast was delightfully soft and sweet, with just the right amount of flavour from the toppings. It’s worth noting that Cafe Blu Blu periodically updates their menu, so the offerings may vary. Nevertheless, I highly recommend giving Cafe Blu Blu a try if you find yourself in the area. Recommended!

Hidden gem of a place. We were trying to get brunch for a group of 5 at 2 pm on the weekend and all the popular spots in the area had insane wait lists so we gave this place a try and were not disappointed.Great short brunch menu. Nothing too complex and really easy to pick. Food is tasty, service is swift and the place is really pretty.Kid-friendliness: They gave my little daughter a tasty fruit treat. That is a sweet gesture.

Very bad birthday experience, the waitress is so rude with a unpleasant smile.Food is not good but small. I think the rate is fake. I will not recommend my friends to this restaurant.

I had a great experience here! The food was delicious, I had a delightful matcha yuzu cocktail, and the ambience is very cozy. I would recommend trying the milk buns. I will be back!

Pancakes were pillowy and cooked to perfection, and the blueberry compote added the perfect amount of tartness. The duck confit eggs benedict was yummy too, but I felt it was missing something.Hojicha latte was delicious as well, just a tinge too sweet (even at half sweet)

Amazing food but even more amazing staffs. We came near closing time, and they didn't tell us it's past last call already. Instead they served us politely and detailed descriptions about the menu to give us a more informed decisions.Bread & Butter - they mixed in grains of salts inside the dough to make the flavour Pop!Braised Beef Cheek - super tender, amazing sauceCod tongue - if you like seafood, must order! A fusion of Asian OX sauce plus chewy fish muscle! The only reason the food was 4/5 bc the portion is a tad bit small for 2 hungry adults. But thank you for having us, and I will definitely you guys next time!

I indulged in the duck confit and beef brisket benedict, finding it to be a great choice considering its price point. The portion sizes of the duck confit and beef brisket were perfectly balanced, and the accompanying breakfast potatoes were impeccably cooked, providing a delightful texture contrast to the dish.Upon being offered a drink, I opted for both an espresso martini and a Mimosa. The espresso martini proved to be a highlight, boasting a delightful sweetness that complemented the meal impeccably. As for the ambiance, I found the decor to be charming, adding to the overall appeal of the dining experience. Moreover, the abundance of seating options tailored for group gatherings further enhanced the establishment's allure. Given the positive experience, I would undoubtedly consider returning for another visit in the future.

The beautiful interior is lively with fresh greenery, tastful music, and even tastier coffee! Both Echo and Skyler are obsessed with what they do. They experiment with food and drink and are able to execute ideas on a high degree that will indulge your senses. This is a place where you feel right at home; a sense of community where like-minded people can gather. I can't wait to see where Café Blublu goes from here! They offer bunch on the weekend and serve a delightful French toast. It's the best French toast that I've had personally. Highly recommend!Dinner service was introduced last week, and it was just incredible. The highlight dish for me was the cod tongue with shishito pepper and charcoal aioli (we had to order a second one!). I'm very much looking forward to the next visit!

Wow! What a cool and cute hidden gem of a spot! I came here for breakfast during the week (they serve breakfast til 4pm - THANK YOU!!!!!).Even though I was craving breakfast and had a croque monsieur (which was exactly what I wanted for breakfast) I have to say the MUSHROOM MELT was the best! It was served on a croissant and I am such a sucker for croissant sandwiches. It was rich, flavourful and the right size. For drinks,.I had a spicy mocha which was garnished with a burnt marshmallow. It was soooo good! They use Scotch bonnet which gives it a good amount of kick.We also had the black sesame latte and on our heads, we wished it was a little sweeter like the dessert. But it was still a great concept for a hot drink.I can't wait to come back! Be it for a nice brunch or a dreamy dinner!!
