I am not comfortable with the overall hygiene and food handling of this restaurant. The patio is very cute, but the staff should be more respectful of patrons and take the hygiene of the kitchen seriously. I feel sorry for the ownership, a few bad apples can indeed spoil the orchard.

My friend and I had dinner here last night. What should have been a good first experience since I had heard nice things about this place left us feeling disrespected and disappointed. Upon entering, we were told that our reservation wasn’t processed although I had a confirmation. After showing it to our waitress, Tina, who was very kind and helpful, she tried to work something out for us on the computer so we could still eat. Unfortunately, that is when we heard her coworker call me a liar for stating that I had a reservation. We found it extremely rude and hostile for a member of the staff to openly claim that a customer is lying simply because of an error made by the reservation service the restaurant uses. This waitress was super friendly with other customers but immediately and blatantly mean to us. I understand that it can be frustrating for waitstaff to deal with customers asking to be seated without a reservation on a busy day, but immediately placing blame on someone without full knowledge of what’s going on is abhorrent. The saving grace was the food. It was delicious, so hats off to the chef. I would love to eat here again but the idea that I may be insulted again is alarming. To the owner(s) of this establishment: please switch the reservation service you work with to ensure the treatment my friend and I received today does not happen to someone else. No one should be insulted by a stranger who’s missing the full story.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarian meals. The customizable pastas are a good bet.

Pethatic service and unresponsive staff
Bad service staff not reponding at all
We chose this restaurant yesterday based on great reviews. Although it wasn't busy, perhaps it was an off night for the restaurant, but our experience didn't reflect that of other reviewers. While the meatball app was very good, the veal and fish dinners were disappointing. Veal cutlet was tough and veggies appeared to be bagged frozen type. Fish had minimal taste and the sauce was salty and overpowering. Neither of us finished our meals. Service was friendly, however was very off-putting to see staff hauling trash bags and pails through the dining area.

enjoyed the gluten free pizza and afagatto
This large Cafe has both indoors and an enclosed patio.
Prices are not inexpensive (see receipt) with beer costing $10 and a calzone $16.
The service is prompt but not overly friendly nor personal.
The place is historical (see photo).
Food is just OK.

Food was good, it would have been great if the bread was tad bit softer and there was a bit more cheese and flavour to the chicken, great portion for price
Service was fantastic
Cafe has a great vibe to it

We ordered three large pizzas with different toppings each, server was friendly. We received two large pizzas with the toppings on each mixed (2 toppings on pizza A were put on pizza B and 2 toppings from pizza B were on pizza C and similar with pizza C)… Not at all acceptable as the result created allergy issues. We mentioned to server the problem and would check with manager. A different server came over with the order receipt and said the pizzas were made correctly! Well, yes they were made according to the first server’s instructions… which were wrong! The second server refused to fix. We said we were not paying and walked out. Hope somebody enjoyed the cold pizzas.
UPDATE: Well, staff gave improved and service is much better... BUR the food quality is crap... seems every thing us frozen and heated in a microwave... sorry, over cooked, and bland. I gave this place another chance and it wasn't worth it. Not returning... food bad and prices high!
