Disappointed with the Feijoada and the size of the desserts. undercooked beans (hard), poorly cut cabbage (looks like it was torn) seasoning, flavor and filling in the feijoada are non-existent.The size of the carrot cake is ridiculous, tiny.Disappointed with the Feijoada and the size of the desserts. undercooked beans (hard), poorly cut cabbage (looks like it was torn) seasoning, flavor and filling in the feijoada are non-existent.The size of the carrot cake is ridiculous, tiny.

It was my first time to eat Brazilian food.I ate traditional dish that is called ‘Feijoada’.I can mix rice, stew, some vegetable.I like that black bean stew! Meat in stew was so soft that I can eat easily. And owner of restaurant was so friendly. He gave me a Brazilian dessert. It was Soo delicious! Soo Sweet!Thank you for making me a good experience.

Good Brazilian cuisine, good ambience and varied dishes, as well as competitive prices. You can have a large portion of salad with different ingredients at a good price.

good ambience + equally good service + amazing serviceMet the owner and what a guy. Knows his meat and an equally wonderful person. The server was equally good, serving us food with a big smile. If you’re looking for authentic Brazilian experience, you should go for it(Coming from brothers who are big on meat)

I’ve placed over 100 orders to Casa Tropical - their food is consistently of the highest quality. Always delicious and the portions are generous. Highly recommended!

There's been a nice influx of Brazilian restaurants to Toronto lately and I've slowly been exploring. Casa Tropical is a lovely addition to the Little Italy community, bringing home style Brazilian cooking to the neighbourhood. I visited near closing time, which I know is a pain for most restaurants, but service was still welcoming and friendly. I believe the shop is a two person show, run by a couple.I think this might be the only restaurant in Toronto serving bobo de camarao, a shrimp stew made with cassava puree. Bobo de camarao comes from the state of Bahia, and has roots in Afro-Brazilian cuisine. Casa Tropical's version is hearty and filling. The coxinha I had was freshly fried and delicious. I even had some brigadeiro to go for dessert. All excellent. Obrigado!

Food was very bland in general. Rice and beans had no flavor and was the same with the chicken stroganoff. I'm from Brazil and the food here was just very disappointing.
