I didn't see this listed anywhere on their website or while booking but this place will automatically charge you a 20% gratuity on larger parties (we were only 8 people) so if you come here keep that in mind.
The review:
Our server Kaitlyn was great, she was attentive and whenever we asked to have something fixed she was on it, so nothing of the below was her fault. We were seated for dinner, so maybe this place just does brunch better based on other reviews.
The tacos de pollo en Nogada: do not order them. They were dry and didn't have much flavor beyond tasting sweet and didn't have a lot of toppings or any sides to add any sort of additional interest.
All of the taco dishes that came with tortillas had just untoasted torilla, not even slightly, just soft tortilla with very little flavor or texture to add to the dishes they came with.
If you want to sit outside on their patio, don't do it in spring in Canada. We were seated under a pine tree (that hung over half of the patio) from which pinecones and other debris kept falling on us and IN our drinks and food. When we alerted staff of this, they just shrugged their shoulders and didn't offer to move us or open up a collapsible fabric roof that I could see was rolled up next to the building.
Some of the food we ordered was interesting, and the drinks were pretty good as was our server, but overall the quality didn't meet expectations for the price, so unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars.
Nice corner spot with a proper kraft dinner.
The service was amazing!!! Natalie is so professional and was so helpful! My new favourite restaurant in the annex!
Came for a solo brunch and sat at the bar. Even though it was so busy, the bartender Sigourney was so great. It was like watching a pro boxer in the ring! I can’t wait to go back, the food and service was 10/10.
Unfortunately they ran out of the food I really wanted to try (the achiote chicken quesadilla), but the rancheros were really good anyways. Loved the homemade hot sauce and ketchup as well. My partner and friend thought their iced coffee was a little watered down tasting/not strong enough, but even for them the food made up for it. They had the brisket hash. Really cute place, the patio looked like a nice set up as well. Good options for people who eat vegetarian and gluten free. Service was friendly and attentive as well!
I think I just had the best grilled cheese and Caesar salad and all my days. So tasty.
Amazing gluten-free fried chicken!
Fav!!!!
Haven't been here in quite some time. Nothing's changed. Still awesome.
Great restaurant, patio and service. Will eat here again :)
The food was spectacular

Friendly neighbourhood bar with a variety of food options. Would visit again
Food was just fine, the service was so bad. So many other options in this area I'd go to before ever returning here.
Quick service and amazing quesadillas
Mango chutney was to die for
Went in on a quiet weekday lunch and had an incredible meal. Rancheros were 💯 and the decor was simple and beautiful, just a calm, thoughtful environment with well-prepared, fresh food that hits the nail on the head. And that creamsicle orange entranceway? Iconic!
Calmer than expected, good seating capacity, friendly service, and interesting menu.
Came here for a casual dinner with friends. Overall we enjoyed the food and the beef burger was quite heavy/filling. However, the dish with wraps needed more wraps, and the brussel sprouts were a bit too charred, dessert was also a bit hit and miss - where the almond sponge cake was good, but the raspberry filled dessert was too sweet/ artificial tasting.
