Charidise Bubble Tea & Fusion Restaurant

Probably one of my favorite All you can eat places currently

After dinner at Taisho, we decided to stop in at Charidise as it was in the same building and the weather outside was bad.
We sat down and a server took our orders. I enjoyed my ginger logan tea.
When we sat down it was about 10pm and they close at 11:30, our server came around with our bills at 10:30 to cash us out. Honestly we found this strange as close to being done our drinks and all agreed that had she instead asked if we wanted anything else we would have ordered more. But since she brought or bills we didn’t order anymore after paying.

This place has two options: a la carte Taiwanese cuisine and all-you-can-eat barbecue. I had the first one. I ordered a pork rice and a pop corn chicken.

The food generally is acceptable. The taste of the pork is favourful, but it does not remind me of Taiwan. The portion for this price is also a bit small. If they could give a full egg instead of half, that would be better.

The portion of the pop corn chicken is generous. You can taste the chicken and it’s close to the ones you can find in Taiwan. Not too oily. However, some pieces are dry. There could be more seasoning too, as salt and pepper are the key of a good pop corn chicken.

The server is polite and nice. I chose a seat next to the patio. So, it’s pretty chill and relaxing.

Overall, it’s a nice dining experience. Food is not perfect and there’s room for improvement. I might visit again next time to see if other items taste good.

This place deserves a higher rating. The chicken katsu curry omurice and Taiwanese popcorn chicken are the best items. Only annoying thing is they only take debit card not credit

Great atmosphere and hospitality

Nice spot to pop in for drinks and also serving up some delicious dishes.

Food ranges from Taiwanese meals to small fusion sharables. I haven't tried too much of the food here but for what I've had it's been pretty great, and I'll definitely be trying more.

Mostly come here for drinks as it doesn't seem to ever get overly busy so nice for a low key evening.

Staff ifs friendly and the the drinks/menu are reasonably priced!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was absolutely awful – the waitress made several mistakes, and instead of owning up to them, she argued with me. The attitude throughout was dismissive and disrespectful, especially from the manager, who showed no intention of resolving the issues.

The meat was partly frozen and clearly not fresh, which is unacceptable at a place that supposedly specializes in quality food. To make things worse, there was a mistake on the bill, and they refused to take responsibility for it. I was essentially forced to pay for their error just to get out of there.

All in all, this place is not worth the time, effort, or money. If this is the kind of service and attitude they offer, I strongly recommend staying away.

Walked in for dinner on a Friday night and was able to get a table right away upstairs for Charidise. They have this BBQ restaurant on the main floor that was pretty busy. The two floors both looked like they were recently renovated. There was going to be a wait for the BBQ place so we asked to go upstairs instead and even the hostess seemed surprised that we would choose that, which was weird.

Charidise upstairs was empty despite all the seating. Staff were mostly downstairs as well so it felt pretty bare.

Got a yakult drink and believe it was grapefruit. Was kinda surprised that it was carbonated because it didn’t say that on the menu. There were only two yakult drinks and the other one which was mango wasn’t carbonated. The drinks were fine but kind of overpriced for what they were.

Had the curry omurice for my main, and was unfortunate to see the sides of the plate dirty all around with greasy fingerprints. The food itself was okay.

Definitely amazing place. Staffs are so nice and accommodating. There’s a good variety of foods in the menu. I recommend!

I recently visited with some friends, and we had a disappointing experience. About 20 minutes after we ordered our drinks, a staff member told us there was a one-hour time limit. The café wasn’t even busy, so this felt unnecessary.

Less than 40 minutes into our visit, another staff member told us we had to order more if we wanted to stay, even though we hadn’t finished our drinks yet. We felt pressured to leave, so we ended up spending less than an hour there.

It was a really uncomfortable experience, and we definitely won’t be going back.

Decent food, amazing atmosphere. Terrible treatment by the staff.

I came here in a group of five to study for a couple of hours. 4 of us ordered a drink, and I was planning to order food later for lunch.

Not even 20 minutes after seating, a staff member approached us and said that we can only stay one hour.

Note that this was 12:30pm on a Monday. Only two other customers were at the cafe. Okay fine. Then within 10 minutes a second staff member came up to us and told us that since I did not order an item yet, we are required to leave. I was planning to order food but due to their pushy attitude, I will not. Its a shame because we were planning to stay and order meals later. They easily could have earned over 120 dollars and a nice tip. But due to this experience they have lost my respect as a customer.

I am disappointed because I have been coming here since 2019 and have never had this issue before. It is a shame as this cafe is beautiful and the staff I had before were welcoming and kind...where did they all go?

If you are a student planning to study in a group, make sure you all buy something RIGHT AWAY otherwise you will be asked to leave. We were rushed even before we finished our drink.

I recently visited this café with three friends, and while three of us purchased items, we were approached twice within less than an hour and told we had to leave unless we bought more. It felt incredibly unwelcoming and rushed, especially since we were still enjoying our time there. Cafés are supposed to be places where you can relax, chat, and enjoy your purchases, but this place seemed more concerned about upselling than creating a comfortable environment for customers. Not to mention it was 1 pm on a monday and the place was empty. Definitely not what we expected and not likely to return.

Came with 3 other friends.. 3 out of 4 of us ordered drinks while the other one was still deciding what to get. After half an hour one staff member told us the time limit is an hr. Another staff came 10 minutes after and told us unless our 4th party bought something we could not stay. It was 1 pm on a monday and empty. They treated us very poorly considering we bought items and were probably going to buy more items.
