Very generous in portion.. American brunch with an Asian twist: neat, delicious and very satisfying if u are a trendy foodie !
There is a public open parking that is 7$ for almost a whole day in the weekend.
I would give 4.8 star overall, just Not 5 star because the patio is functional but nothing with a wow factor …

I always end up back here when I go downtown for brunch. I tend to go earlyish in the mornings and sit by the window and was a good atmosphere. The portions are moderate to large.

Light Cafe is a charming spot with great food and dairy alternatives for lattes. The balcony is a nice spot to enjoy the delicious food. The space is very clean and bright, with an inviting and cozy decor. The hashbrown rings are delicious, and the mini pancakes are made perfectly. The Katsu pork sandwich is juicy, and the waffle fries are crispy and fully seasoned. The iced matcha is delicious, creamy, and sweet with a familiar matcha taste. The outdoor patio is relaxing. The cafe offers big portion sizes for their mains, and they have a large selection of different drinks. The Asian twist on brunch, croissant, pasta, and sandwiches is delightful. There are many vegetarian options. The service is quick and courteous, with friendly and welcoming staff. The food is amazing, very filling, and has lots of variety. The beef pasta is absolutely delicious with rich and comforting flavours, and the chicken sandwich is crispy. The atmosphere is friendly and warm with a relaxed vibe. Making a reservation is recommended, especially at peak hours. It is definitely a spot to come back to.
