The decoration is humble and simple, the host was extremely friendly and attentive, but let’s talk about the food… the food was perfect! We love Persian food and found this place accidentally. The wing was one of the best wings I’ve had in Toronto. The koobideh and chenje were wonderfully cooked but tender. The rice was a well prepared Persian rice (not Indian or Asian rice) we are glad we found a new go to place.

I ordered through Uber eats and got the Koobideh Kebab. Generous portions and delicious foods. Since then, I became a repeat customer. The Koobideh was fresh and tastes good. I can’t wait to visit their location and try an in-house dining experience. Keep it up!

The food was really, freshly made and large portions. The service was also great. They could play music to make the atmosphere better. For Iranian food it’s a really solid option in the central part of the city rather than going up north.

I am so grateful for Chelowich. It is easily one of the best Persian kebabs I’ve had, and located in one of the best neighbourhoods of Toronto, Roncesvalles. It gives you the sense you’re in a mom and pop restaurant, which I love. I got the family platter and my whole family loved it (and we would know, we’re Persian)! Highly recommend.

The food was delicious and on point.. . Very authentic Persian kebob and they elevated a traditional dish, with a very modern salad and it worked really well .. only thing is that we Waited a bit too long for the food, but the gentleman working seemed to be working hard and not at fault . Assuming they just have too many orders due to quality of food and need an extra pair of hands during rush times .
