Hi,
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant in first day of new year. They completely wasted my time by failing to deliver a missing item from my order, all while knowing about the issue. Instead of addressing it promptly or offering an apology, they kept telling me to "wait 5 more minutes" over and over again. It was frustrating and unprofessional. This lack of accountability and poor service makes it impossible for me to recommend this place to anyone. Avoid if you value your time and good customer service!

I LOVE this place, their chicken wings are absolutely amazing, my families been ordering from this place for 20+ years and it’s always great. Never experienced these comments about bland food or weird things in the food. Again. I’d demolish 3 packs of those chicken wings alone, with the hot sauce packs mixed with the soy sauce as a dip goes crazy. LOVE

Although the food was good. The food was 2 hours late. Now I understand it’s New Year’s Eve which is why I ordered several days in advance with Uber to make sure it’s delivered by 6:15pm. It came at 8:15pm. Not only were we left waiting. I feel bad for the Uber drivers that had to wait over 30 minutes each for nothing on the busiest delivery day for them. It was the fourth driver that completed the delivery. They were greedy to make money and ended up taking far more orders than they were able to handle. Not acceptable service.

We ordered at 5pm on New Years. At 8pm we called and they said they were preparing our meal. When we called at 9pm they said they could not fulfil the order AFTER already charging our credit card. Then they hung up on us after we asked to speak with the manager. I understand it’s new years and it’s busy but they weren’t even going to call us to tell us that they weren’t going to deliver the food or even refund our card. 4 hrs of waiting- no food.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid. I don't know too much about Chinese food, and it may not be the most authentic compared to other options in the area, but this is classic Canadian Chinese food. It always hits the spot. Everything is cooked in a wok so all the ingredients are cooked well, the vegetables are soft yet crunchy, and there's a good amount of them. So it's pretty healthy. It's also not greasy or excessively sweet.
This place has been around for years and I'm happy about that. I'm honestly surprised at the bad reviews. The food is very well priced too. I come here pretty often.

Been ordering from here 20+ years. Ordered party trays and the food was bland with no vegetables or taste. No wok flavor. Not sure if there is a change of ownership but it ruined a bday party I hosted. Therefore I will not be returning.

Watery food the second time around. Meal in picture was better than my most recent
Nothing about this place is "Gourmet" bad service. Bad food. Bad representation of Chinese Food. Please don't allow this place to set your standards of what Chinese food should taste like.

Great food, lots of variety, fast takeout service and generous servings - we have been regulars for decades.

Classic Canadian-Chinese dishes done well. Each dish is tasty and satisfying. The place is a very old school joint with limited seating. Best for take-out, or dine-in if you’re a party of 1-3 looking for a no frills meal. The combo meals are great value.
Parking: Limited parking in the front. The lot is tight, and shared amongst several shops in the plaza. Be careful while looking for parking, especially during peak dining hours.

The chow mein was extremely bland—no seasoning or flavor at all. While the portions were generous, the taste just wasn’t there. I honestly wouldn’t come back. I’d only recommend this place if you’re desperate for a quick bite and have no other options. Disappointing overall.
The food is always delicious and you get a lot of food.

Overcharge
They add extra tax or something. I got two chowmein I believe the price is 13.90 which should be 27.80 plus tax is 31.41
Somehow it came out to 33.50
Maybe they add in a small tip for themselves
