Nice ambiance, great food (salty for me). Service seems to be improved. The bathroom sink was blocked when I got I the restaurant. We ordered the appetizer, then nothing until everyone else in the restaurant got their food including those who came later than us. Called the waitress, the manager seemed to try to explain, but we all knew what happened. We don't need an explanation, we need an apology.

Chubby's is delicious as usual. The restaurant was extremely festive for this time of year. This was my first time trying the brunch menu and it was wonderful. I will be back.

It was a Sunday, 11:30 a.m. My BFF and I were seated in secs. Ok, we were one of two parties to arrive, open Chubby's that morning. Nice,refreshing greeting on entering. That plus cool music, set the vibes. We were seated promptly. menus were offered at which time, we ordered coffee, which arrived lickety split. We knew what we wanted from the menu, and so ordered in a few minutes. While waiting, we had a couple of alcoholic libations. Tasty. And just like that, the order arrived. 2 Jamaican breakfasts in less than 10 minutes. My meal was excellent. It was fresh, tasty, good portioned, nicely plated, warm. I ate slowly as I didn't want it to finish. To complete the meal I had my fave dessert - creme brulée. Delish. It has been a long time since I felt a restaurant earned and lived up to all its STARS!!!!

This place was highly disappointing. Will never see me again. Food was mid, and our server was horrible. Paid 2 bills and only enjoyed the drinks and jerk chicken.

Overall was a great dining experience for my first visit. Food was great though my curry goat was a bit salty. Drinks were awesome and rum punch had plenty of rum! The server was very polite and offered excellent service. Biggest downside, it was an extremely pricey outing! If I attend again, would only be for special occasion and not for regular frequent dining.

Came here for the first time and I was seated right away even though I had reservations. The service was great, our server was very friendly and suggested options. The oxtail was really good, it had a little spice which I loved. The jerk chicken was alright, it didn't taste like your authentic jerk chicken but still flavourful and the rice and peas was good. I would come back.

I had originally booked the reservation for the upstairs Pon Di Nice List experience, however, when modifying my reservation, I must have booked the regular restaurant. I explained to the host what had happened and she told me she'd let us know if any spots became available. We were seated downstairs and got the oxtail, jerk chicken, salt fish bites and jerk fries. The food here is always 10/10. We also ordered the champion bubble, coco loco and the rum punch. Everything was absolutely delicious. Shortly after we finished our food the hostess offered us a spot upstairs for a group that cancelled. We were able to grab a drink in the Pon Di Nice List experience, we ordered the Pineapple Express, Ting A Ling and Hot Wuk. The drinks were strong and tasted amazing. Will definitely be back to Chubby's after this experience. Special shoutout to the host for remembering us and the DJ for playing such a great set!

Bar seating at certain areas is very crowded an uncomfortable. Lots of servers and diners bumping into you or brushing you when they pass by. Other than that it's a beautiful space, food is amazing and the service is FAST.
This restaurant is definitely the real deal in terms of what the food from a Jamaican Kitchen should taste like. There was a great play with sweet and heat. We ordered the jerk platter to try a little but if everything and I'm glad we did. Next time I will know what to order to keep that beautiful sweet/heat balance going. I can't wait for next time!
