I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for years.
It is conveniently located north of the king st strip on Portland st.
It is my favourite one in the city
They have a great staff who is very friendly and quick, they always remember your order.
Their style is traditional ,which is refreshing .
Small and down to earth furnishings,nothing fancy and full of famous Jimmys photos and murals. No online order and pick up.

Excellent espresso coming from a coffee snob
Staff was extremely friendly! I ordered green tea, decaf Americano, and zucchini muffin and all was great
It was a good place to study/work. I sat at the tables in the middle of the cafe, and when it got busy, the line would extend to this seating area. So next time I’ll try to sit at the back seating area for a quieter space to work). There were ups and downs when it got busy
