Despite being kid-friendly, our visit remained undisturbed, ensuring a relaxing atmosphere. However, the seating arrangements on the top floor felt cramped, especially during busier hours, which created a somewhat enclosed feel.
The service was prompt and professional. We were quickly seated upon arrival, and our server demonstrated a fine balance between attentiveness and respecting our privacy, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
For drinks, we tried the Peach Sangria with white wine, which was both refreshing and flavorful. Our appetizer, the Grilled Octopus, featured a visually appealing presentation with purple potatoes that enhanced its flavor. However, the octopus was slightly overcooked and overly charred for my preference, though this may suit some diners’ tastes.
For the mains, I had the Seafood Linguine, which was beautifully presented and customized to include more shrimp and calamari instead of clams and mussels. As someone familiar with Italian cuisine, I found the pasta exceptionally well-prepared and flavorful. My friend chose the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was flavorful but had a strong egg aroma that caused some discomfort afterward.
To conclude the meal, we shared the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta. While the presentation was elegant, the texture could have been smoother for a more refined finish.
Overall, CIBO delivers a satisfying dining experience with its inviting ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful dishes. While there are areas for improvement, such as seating and textural details in certain dishes, it remains a solid choice for Italian dining.

I went to this inviting Winebar/restaurant yesterday and really enjoyed myself. The Red Wine Sangria was delicious, I had the minestrone soup which had lots of flavour and salmon with salad. The salad was super flavourful and the salmon was cooked perfectly and was a large portion. Victoria was my server and she was fantastic, very engaging, great service and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be back.

Food was okay… Felt sorry for the server, it was a busy Friday lunch and they had one server struggling to cover the entire restaurant with one runner. Manager did not lift a finger to help, he had no concerns at all about how his staff was doing or how the patrons were experiencing the restaurant at all.
Trattoria Nervosa was packed down the street and CIBO was picking up their overflow, but obviously couldn’t handle it, I wonder why.
At the end after I spoke with the manager about my concerns staff thanked me for “telling him what they’ve all been thinking about him for years”
Megi was a great server.. and all alone.

1 star because the food was amazing but staff was extremely racist. Sat us down at the very back where we couldn’t enjoy the scenery of the restaurant. Instead, they sat us down next to a bunch of opened wine boxes. Gave 0 tip of course and clearly our server was upset. Maybe next time don’t make it evident in your switch of attitude when you switch over to your white coloured guests :)

The smallest portions I ever had. I had braised short rib ravioli that cost 32$. In the portion was 10 ravioli. I ordered pizza mozzarella di buffala because ravioli wasn't enough. In the whole pizza was 4 small pieces of pizza. I would never come back again.

Extremely disappointing experience with the manager at this restaurant. When I called to cancel our reservation five hours in advance due to a friend testing positive for COVID, the manager rudely hung up on me. I explained that it wouldn't be safe for my friend to attend and could put other guests and staff at risk. Shockingly, the manager dismissively suggested I bring my sick friend if I myself felt safe, completely ignoring the health and safety of everyone else.
This was by far the worst reservation experience I've ever had. I will not be returning to this restaurant as long as this unprofessional and rude manager is in charge!
Great place, Ford was very good but the service has a lot to improve. The apetizers took half hour to get to the table with the restaurant empty, food took additional 20 minutes. The server didnt care about us having no water or nothing to drink and not coming to ask if we needed anything. The bill was 336 between 6 people. We know that for 6 people there is 18% of tip added but our server took the advantage and choose to tale 20% of tip without asking, making that the final cost was 406.60 dollars. It was a total abuse and he shouldnt be able to choose how many percentage of tip are we obligated to pay on top that the service was horrible.
