I had fish and chips and the hazelnut espresso martini. Both excellent. My husband had a scallop appetizer and the plum tart. Enjoyed both plus some of my fish and chips. Next time I might try two appetizers - the russet chips and something else. Would have the martini again - it was dessert in a glass. Great service. Lovely view of the ROM. High ceilings and window walls so nothing to absorb voices.
Had lunch at Clay on a Friday afternoon. A wonderful experience from the time we arrived to the time we left! Very friendly staff, incredibly wonderful food (nicely presented too), good space between tables, bright room, and low noise level. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu. This is my second time dining here and the first for my guest, who also wants to return.
Excellent place for lunch. Especially love the omelette but this time around only gave 4 stars to food as omelette was a bit dry and not that tasty. Also cheese in the omelette had not melted. But always a great place to dine
