Served our burgers rare without any notice or question about how we’d like it cooked. The burgers tasted different from each other. One was served cooked to perfection with the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to vegetable, the other was practically inedible. Also very overpriced.

The best "casual" steakhouse in Toronto, bar none. After years of frequenting their sister restaurant down the street, Union, I finally made it out to Cote De Beouf. With just a few tables and a walk in only policy, it can be tough to get a table (this was my 4th try!) but it was well worth the hype. The waiter was right - Cote serves Toronto's best Steak Tartare. The Steak Frites, and especially the Braised Ribs special were incredible as well. Can't wait to come back!

Had dinner hear with my family for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is pretty small and could be missed if your not looking for it properly. However, if you are a steak fan this place is worth a try. We got the sharable 48oz dry aged steak, steak frites, and rib eye with marrow butter! All of it was delicious.

Indulging in the butcher's table was an absolute delight! Every dish was fantastic and honestly very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service you're getting. The dishes were extremely unique and it was clear that the kitchen and staff were very proud of the food they were presenting.Grace & Luke were fantastic, the service was phenomenal which is really what sets an experience apart, especially in Toronto where good food is plentiful, good service is not.Without alcohol cost of the meal PP was $170 not including gratuity.

Best kept secret in the city - this place is a French staple. Dishes are executed with perfection, and the quality of ingredients speak for themselves. Walk ins only, but it’s always worth the wait. I’ve tried about everything on the menu but the steak tartar is top tier. Worth checking out if you’re ever in the Ossington area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, particularly the steak frites, which I must say was one of the best I've ever had. The only drawback was the lengthy wait of an hour and a half on a weekday to secure a table. Fortunately, we made the most of our time by grabbing a drink at the bar next door while we waited for our table to become available. It would have been more convenient if they accepted reservations.

The steak was absolutely delicious every time I come here. Although I noticed the last time I visited was a bit smaller. But my main issue does not lie with the food. I find that the girl at the door, i didnt get her name, had a really warm greeting. But the server with the blonde slick back hair all the aritiza girls have, was very rude and somewhat racist.I tipped about $34, which was more than the 18% pre calculated on their machine. And then almost stopped us going out the door to ask us to pay for our bill, which we already did. Taken by another server who didn’t even give me enough time to finish my drink. AFTER the fact one of the other server said to take our time and enjoy my drink.I just had an unwelcoming feeling after the fact, and they probably thought we were gonna run out of our bill. If not, thats how these servers made us feel anyway. Definitely NOT worth tipping $34 for mediocre service. And I have hospitality and service experience.

The best steak tartare I had in my life. Steak frites was good, but god, the tartare was something else. Will definitely come back just for that dish.

This place is inconsistent. Went there for my first time two years ago and was great…. On my 2nd visit well….Unfortunately things have changed my steak was very much undercooked and chewy. I tried for 10 minutes to get the waiter’s attention but he never bothered to come check up on us. This guy had the personality of a thumbtack. Truly awful experience which is unfortunate because my first visit was so good. Place is very small which is fine I don’t mind a cozy ambiance but please hire competent engaging staff and at the very least instruct whomever is serving to check up on tables to make sure everything is ok. So disappointing to experience such a steak and service at this price point.
