I don’t think I’ve been in there once where staff doesn’t have an attitude. You’re in the service industry…

Minimalist design, pleasant atmosphere , fantastic music selection (last time I was there, they were playing Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue album). Good coffee & pastries with vegan options, indoor and outdoor seating. Located on a residential street, making it a quiet, peaceful spot to work on your laptop or relax with a coffee.Vegetarian options: Vegan options include plant-based milks, cookies, and scones.

Came across this cafe by accident - such a lovely little neighbourhood cafe that offers a large variety of snacks and drinks! I got the iced mocha latte and clementine & almond cake, both were absolutely delicious!!! Their seating is slightly small but the environment is perfect for studying and everyone is so friendly!

One of the better neighbourhood cafes for a small, quiet and cozy hangout away from main streets. I’ve never had a bad coffee or pastry here. Be prepared to take your order to go in case there’s nowhere to sit.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is wheelchair accessible but the bathroom is in the basement.

Lovely little cafe in the neighbourhood. No place to sit because everyone working on their computers but we went to a nearby park and drank our lattes in the sunshine. In the summer there is seating outside so more room. Overpriced large lattes as we spent $19.98 including tip for 2 large lattes butthey were delicious and very friendly serviceNOTEGood selection of pastries and sandwiches ;

Inventive pastries in a lovely neighborhood cafe. If you want to get their pastries bag on TooGoodToGo app you have to keep refreshing a few minutes before they go live since it’s so competitive. One time I got it but they actually sold out the next

Our long-standing love for Contra took a hit this morning when the barista kicked us out for having our small corgi with us. Surprisingly, there are no signs indicating a no-pets policy.The barista's approach was far from professional, and the lack of transparency about the pet policy is disappointing. As loyal customers, we won't be returning, and our friends are also reconsidering their visits. Contra needs to reevaluate its policies and communication to ensure a more inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

Best neighbourhood coffee. Always a nice spot to have a meeting, or sit out on the patio in the summer time.

Every week I am treated to a surprise breakfast sandwich on Saturday and I am always hoping it is from contra. Perfect little neighborhood spot for a quick bite and coffee. I'd choose contra every time.
