i feel bad bashing on a small business but it almost looked like a front with a few crusty looking pizza and i opted for a platter and without exaggeration this was probably the worst one i had in toronto. not sure why this place has 500+ reviews and such high ratings.

I ordered a pizza for pickup on Saturday after checking positive Google reviews for the restaurant. The pizza itself was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the Tandoori chicken topping—I received only three small pieces scattered across the entire pizza, which is nowhere near the quantity expected for the price charged. The whole pizza should have been generously loaded with Tandoori chicken. Why skimp on portions when you're charging customers full price? This feels like a cheap shortcut that undermines the overall experience.

I had an interesting experience. My partner ordered cheese because he is vegetarian and me a pepperoni. The cheese was ready, but the peoppoeni would take five. It took much longer than five minutes. When he finally served me, I said thank you. The cashier looked at me weird at asked if I was talking to him... I was trying to say thank you three times. And when my partner asked for his slice the associate forgot that he did not serve him in the first place. The food was amazing but very disorganized business.

Visited Cosmic Pizza today, September 18, 2025 at 7:48 PM. I watched a female staff member handle cash and her phone, then immediately touch food ingredients to make a pizza without washing her hands. I assumed she would wash first, but she didn’t. This is a basic food-safety issue—please address staff hygiene.

Ordered a donair wrap and classic poutine. Both were very delicious. Donair tastes just like it’s from Halifax. It was loaded with meat and a good portion. Service was super friendly.

Cosmic Pizza & Donair is a fantastic spot right in Toronto for anyone craving an authentic taste of the East Coast. I tried the donair, and it was absolutely excellent—flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and identical to the ones you’d find in Halifax. The meat was tender, the sweet sauce was spot-on, and everything came together just right.

The best Halifax Donair in the city !!
Staff are always friendly and super polite. Food comes up quickly and is made to perfection with just the right balance of tomato to onion to sauce(s) on a very full pita.
If you are looking for a great Halifax style domair, this is the place and the hours are amazing for a late night snack

I recently visited [cosmic pizza &donair] and was extremely disappointed with my experience.
While the pizza initially looked appetizing, my meal was ruined when I found a hair baked into the crust. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their kitchen's hygiene standards.
I brought this to the attention of the staff, but the response was lackluster and didn't seem to address the severity of the issue.

Great falafel wrap here. It was delicious and filling. The pizza was food as well. Very tasty. There is a washroom also. The staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant was spotless when we were there.
