Cosmic Pizza & Donair - Yonge Street

The thin crust pizza was criminally bad. This location might be the worst pizza I had in years. Asked and paid for extra pepperoni - got less.

I don’t know what happened to this location, but this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve had.

I can’t fairly review the food because I never ended up taking the order. I placed an online order and arrived approximately 25 minutes later to pick it up. When I provided my order number (#5538), the employee at the counter appeared confused and disappeared to the back. About three minutes later, it became clear that my order had not been prepared and was only being started after I arrived.

When the pizzas were finally presented, they were not made according to my online order. I politely explained that I had ordered the same pizza multiple times before and that this wasn’t what I had received in the past. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the employee insisted that the pizza was correct.

She then brought another employee into the conversation. After looking at the pizzas, he immediately seemed to recognize there was an issue and said, “Oh!” At that point, I thought the situation would be resolved and the correct pizzas would be offered.

I asked how long it would take to remake the order correctly. After a brief discussion between the employees, I was told, “It would be a waste if we have to remake it.”

That response was what disappointed me most. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What frustrated me was the refusal to acknowledge the error and the apparent focus on avoiding a remake rather than resolving the issue for a long-time customer.

I’ve been ordering from this location for about two years and have never felt the need to leave a negative review before. Had the mistake simply been acknowledged and corrected, I would not be writing this review today.

For the owner: Please review the camera footage and my order history associated with Order #5538. The interaction between the staff before my order was even placed in the oven suggested there may have been internal issues affecting customer service that day.

Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be reconsidering whether I return to this location.

We had a great experience with this store since it opened. This all changed when the store was having technical issues with the website and had no interest in helping us order over the phone. We will never do business with this store again.

Still my favourite pizza place 2 years later! 5 star food and 5 star service! Always delicious and served with a smile!

Ordered a pickup special pizza from here and I became an addict. Amazing 'to go' as well as by slice. Generous toppings at a great price point. Also, the staff are always friendly and awesome; They are always ready with a smile and genuinely seem to care about their customers and they are passionate about their food.

Great pizza! Super hot and fresh (they only have two pizzas for sale at a time and about two slices of each flavour,

One slice for $4.50 (including tax) is super filling! Remember to ask what kind because the toppings are under the cheese! I had pepperoni and my boyfriend tried the Chicken Delight (spicy slice) and the donair. Donair was really good (I found it a bit too sweet, but it's really popular and worth giving a try!) and i didn't try the Chicken Delight, but it was so good that it inspired him to try the Donair.

Also, the paper plates are super cute.

I just ordered delivery and never got it. I don't know if it was delivered to the wrong address or the driver stole my food or what.

This store is in too good to go. They always cancel your order even last minute!! They probably take the surplus of food themselves. Don't bother.

This branch taste is different from others i don’t like it. The serving portion even is less

If your going to close early you really should turn the open sign off. I have gone into this location multiple times when they should be open and the doors unlocked, sign says open and they are closed. You have lost a return customer and I will not be coming back.

Ordered takeout here. I ordered one platter with rice and the lady working there gave me a chicken wrap, which I cannot eat (the wrap) and I told her that. We both heard me ask for the platter and she even asked for my salad toppings and dressings, but besides the point. We went back in and she said I ordered the wrap and wouldn’t make me what I originally asked for. Another guy working there said it was fine and made it but she refused to correct my order which made me not want to come back. Thank u to the guy who corrected my order. The bowl wasn’t worth it really in the end and the poutine was dry. The chicken was chewy and the rice was in the shape of a brick. The meal times here are also around 20 minutes, even for one bowl or one wrap. We waited twice so 40 minutes in total.

I placed a Large Order with Cosmic Pizza & Donair.
The order was for about 60 people (Pizza, donairs, falafels)
I placed the order in advance and it was ready exactly at the convened time. The pricing was more then fair, the service was excellent, and the Donairs hit the East Coast craving our event was looking for.

They were able to accommodate my request on short notice (2 days) and provided everything a catered event needed. Hashiq, hoping I pronounced this right, even helped me load up the order into my car.

Will order again for both event catering and for myself.

I ordered a Punjabi veggie which came to be super delicious , fresh and crispy crust made my whole day
Overall ambience, staff and food was a fabulous experience will surely visit again.
