I was here for a NYE party. For the $140 plus tax ticket it included an entry cocktail, small hors d'oeuvres and a toast at midnight (I am certain it said this as I remember this being the main reason I booked the ticket). We were told, however, as it neared midnight there would be no toast, and there was VERY very limited food esp any GF options. We spoke. to the manager about the toast - I have worked in hospitality for years, the fact that they wouldn't just pour two small glasses (just enough to toast with) which could have very well been a proseco but offered nothing while the event even appeared to be sponsored by Perrier-Jouët was extremely frustating and dissapointing. The amount of sparkling wine in that place and for the 140 paid to not even get a small glass to toast at midnight with was unacceptable and ruined such a special night. Overall i was extremely unimpressed with the organization, food options, and service.

Drink on entrance was ok, but not including sparkling at the countdown is not great considering the price of the ticket. It was not quite transparent that the ticket was standing room. Music was great, however the dancing floor super small for the number of guests. Nice appetizers but limited to 5 options (at least before the midnight).

Considering the price, it was rather disappointing. A couple of skewers with some food. I was expecting much much more. The staff were very professional and personal as always. But the value wasn't even remotely there.

The service was slow, and the prices were too high. I had a Tequila Sour that cost $42 for 1 1/2 of tequila. Outrageousl

The high tea was so bad, the sweet was tasting all the same, just the color was different The sandwich was awful, the croissant was old and tasted bad, The only good part was the coffee and scones . The jam was tasted weird and super sweet. Overall for 120$ was not worth at all. I go to high tea wherever i go for vacation, recently i went to high in japan,Scotland and hong kong.their high tea was awesome, The dbar hight tea not good at all and not worth the money and time

Friday night- music was a little too loud- to the point of being distracting Burger was mediocre - dry and too much bun- bun itself was large and hard Fries were crispy and lacked taste Salmon was good- moist and with good flavor Crispy Brussel sprouts were dense and soggy- The place was packed on a Friday night- so perhaps the chef was having an off night? Would definitely recommend cafe Boulud if you're looking for a tasty meal. We were staying at the four seasons hotel and wanted to give dbar a try. The night before, Thursday, there was a lovely singer- that we could hear from the lobby. I think we just picked the wrong night and perhaps the wrong entree.

The hostess was awful - I needed to move to a quieter seat as I was meeting with a client and needed to speak to them and the hostess became hostile - annoyed to set up another table and would make sure to give me a dirty look as she sat other people with a smile She was simply awful The wait staff were amazing as always (I am a regular being from Yorkville) but the hostess was beyond rude not even saying good bye when I said thank you as I left I am so tired of the condescending looks at Dbar when I am the actual patron

Top notch.

Staffs are extremely friendly. One of the best service I ever received

Fair price for a hotel bar
If you’re ever unsure what to get, ask for a recommendation. Tried their recommended wine (niagara riesling) and it was the best riesling I ever had.

Great desserts.
I don’t normally like desserts or sweets but this was next level

100% recommended

I was really disappointed with our experience at d|bar on a Sunday night. The place was almost completely empty, yet our group of eight was told that if we wanted to sit at a regular table, our bill would have to be on one tab plus they would automatically add a 20% service fee. The alternative they offered was to seat us at a high-top table, where we could pay separately and avoid the mandatory gratuity.

What made the situation even more surprising was when our group went from six people to eight — the server actually had to get manager approval just to bring over two extra chairs in an empty restaurant.

For a venue inside the Four Seasons, the experience felt unnecessarily rigid and far from the level of hospitality you’d expect. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet the standards we associate with the brand.

Service was outstanding and very accommodating— the food was good. Music, dj, ambiance was a 10 as were our servers.

The presentation and portions of the plates deteriorates every time we go to Dbar! The cheese board used to be a nice presentation and variation of cheese. Now, it is a poor plate with a terrible taste in presentation. We are regulars at Dbar because we live next door to it. So, even with this poor presentation of food, we will go back but it's important for the public to know what they should expect.

The aesthetics are quite nice, but unfortunately it is disappointing that a supposedly high end establishment cannot accommodate gluten free diners for their afternoon tea! As there are other places in Toronto that are more inclusive to those with different dietary requirements at a lesser price point, this comes across as a deliberate choice. I really hope they offer an option in the future!
