Very good place. It has this warm, family vibe that makes it special. Chicken was just perfect! Kids said that it's better than KFC:) Everything was fresh and just great.

We ordered the 10-piece gluten-free fried chicken and noted that we are Celiac. We were assured it would be safe and that the chicken is cooked in a separate fryer. We were told the french fries are definitely not gluten-free. And the menu at the counter also says fries are not gluten-free.
At home when eating the chicken we found french fries at the bottom of the box. Obviously the order was not gluten-free chicken. As this is a serious health issue we cannot trust Daddy’s Chicken to be safe for Celiacs.

overall a pretty decent chicken spot. I got the 5 piece and the hot chicken. The chicken sandwich was solid but I feel like the 5 piece was pretty generic and didnt really stand out from what you could get from KFC/popeyes. I would definitely mainly only go there again for their chicken sandwich.

Unfortunately the fried chicken fell short, ours was over cooked in my opinion and had a taste of oil that hadn't been changed in a while. It had a taste of something missing. The coslaw and the onion rings were cooked to perfection! Pressure cookers are best if your cooking a lot of chicken in my opinion.

until my visit, i thought pg clucks was the best fried chicken sandwich in the city. this place is very close if not better, in terms of taste and size. the Hot sandwich had great crunch and it was huge. other places like chen chen and juicy bird come close in terms of taste (they're both pretty good) but the sandwich i had at Daddys was good *and* the biggest of them all.
6/5. I'm gluten free and tried the classic chicken sandwich. It was SO good, and not just good for gluten free. The chicken is crisp and tender, and I believe they use the O'Dough's hamburger buns which are my favourite because they don't fall apart. My partner had the Big Daddy sandwich, and it was huge and apparently great as well. I can tell the gluten free options have a lot of thought put into them, they aren't an afterthought. I'll be back!

Had a Hot Hot and a Big Daddy. Staff are quite friendly. The fried pickles on the hot hot were good. The cheese on the big daddy was processed which I didn't love, but it fit the burger.
