Irresponsible arrogant staff. Total lack of professionalism. Very trendy and when the fad wears off they will be closed as people eventually figure out that service matters. If you are willing to pay for the chicken with your time then camp out and wait. Otherwise go somewhere else. There are a lot of fried chicken places that run on time. I ordered and they told me 15 minutes. I came back in 15 minutes and they hadn't started the order. Their excuse is that they had a lot of orders so apparently my order got pushed back.

Pros
- Chicken sandwich was huge.
- Cashier was friendly.

Cons
-Onion rings could use more salt.
- Would’ve liked to see a Nashville hot chicken option.
- Tables could use a bit more tidying up.

Great fried chicken sandwich. Got the classic and it was absolutely massive… great value, could have easily split with someone else. Tasted very fresh. Will definitely go back!

Overall a pretty decent sandwich compared to most fried chicken places in Toronto. But I dont believe it is worth the trek outside of main parts of downtown. Bit pricey for sandwich. Freshness is great, make fresh to order. Could have just been the tender sandwich being a bit mid, but was expensive for a single tender on sandwich.

Decent lunch, pretty tasty. Junior chicken (one thigh slider-style) and fries for $13. Some minor notes, which may just be a one off, or the fact I was there right at opening (noon).

The overarching problem with the sandwich was: Coleslaw, yes. Coleslaw dressing, no.

Prep either needs a slotted spoon, or full on draining of the coleslaw before it goes on. Bun, chicken, wrapper, and my hands were soaked in vinaigrette.

The bits of chicken not soggy were crispy and well seasoned. Which only made me sad for the sandwich that was, or could have been.

The fries were good, tasted fresh cut, or at least not McCain's not oversalted. I think the fryer needs to be turned up though, as the larger fries, while cooked, were soggy.

So delicious! Highly recommend for chicken sandwich enthusiasts. The fries are also incredible

Gluten free fried chicken is a treat when you can find it. Will for sure be a returning customer. Hot maple sauce is yummy!

Place slaps, tell them you like them more than PG Clucks

I just had the best chicken sandwich in my life! I have no idea why I waited so long to try this place. Daddy's Chicken is legit. With so much undersized and underwhelming food out there these days, it was great to get an amazingly fresh, juicy and delicious fried chicken sandwich that filled me right up. Super friendly staff to boot! Go get one, you won't be disappointed!

Came in on Friday night. Girl working was very pleasant and some regulars that were there were very friendly. Said to the young lady working there that that I will have the original chicken sandwich with coleslaw on the side instead of on. No problem at all. She's said I hope you are hungry because the sandwich is huge. I said I'll have it all white meat. No problem at all. Paid $15 even for the sandwich. While waiting, I seen in their store window they compare sandwich sizes with some others out there. Got my sandwich and went home. My sandwich consisted of two chicken strips covered in a nice brioche bun. Anyone who has had a Fearless meats grilled or breaded chicken clucker for $8.99 would know what a chicken sandwich is in taste and size and know what I am getting at here. The sandwich from Daddy's was tasty, but nowhere close to huge or better than what they were advertising against others for $15 that I paid and not even half the size of Fearless Meats chicken sandwiches grilled or breaded. Maybe it was a bad experience for me on a first visit. I think I will give you another try, but I will have it in house and let it be judged on the spot. Even if the next one is double what I
got the first time, $15 is still not worth it. I support a lot of small business shops and restaurants, but you've gotta be fair. If your rent is too high, then you move to compensate. Lots of suppliers out there too. Thanks, but my first experience was a 1 rating.
