I like this hotpot place better than luiyishi on spadina! We got all you can eat and their service is amazing. All the broths are very flavorful.

Disappointing Experience at Dahu Hotpot
I recently dined in at Dahu hotpot in Toronto on a Saturday in Toronto, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While the space is modern and well-designed with an appealing orange-themed decor, the quality of the food and overall value left much to be desired.
The biggest issue was the flavour profile - the server recommended two most popular types of the most popular broths - everything was overwhelmingly spicy with little depth, making it difficult to enjoy the nature flavours of the ingredients.
Additionally, the all you can eat selection for making sauces and pickles was very basic, lacking variety and quality, which is disappointing for the price point. At over $50 per person, I expected a much higher standard in both food and service.
The most concerning aspect, however, was the cleanliness of the washroom. They were noticeably unkempt, which raises questions about overall hygiene standards.
A restaurant of this caliber should prioritize cleanliness, especially in high-traffic areas.
Overall, Dahu hotpot does not offer good value for the price, and given the lackluster of food and poor maintenance, I cannot recommend it.
There's are far better hot pot options in Toronto that provide a more enjoyable dining experience.

I tried hot pot combo for the first time yesterday, and the food and service were great – they even explained everything and served tea. But, I'm a germaphobe, and there was a waitress was cutting her nails near the cashier while I was eating, which was gross. I kept picturing her nails will going in my soup! Luckily, another waiter stopped her. It was a bummer, but the food was good, so I'll probably go back sometime.

Nice little hot pot place on baldwin street. Good selection of meats and other foods along with a good selection of soups. A good option on a cold day.

I love their all you can eat, especially the Wagyu beef. There were also lots of choices for the base soup. Staff were so patient and friendly to us. I left my earbuds, and they made sure I got it back. I highly recommend it.

Love that you get an option for individual pots or bigger shared pot. Service was fast and staff were very nice! The quality of the food was great and very fresh. The whole place and the self serve sauce bar was kept tidy and spotless. I got the spiciest level for my soup base and it was ACTUALLY spicy and delicious, unlike most places where it’s just salty and oily.
Definitely coming back here!
