As always, the entire evening was an enormous pleasure. The service was outstanding - thank you Melrose and the rest of the team. The kitchen team also outdid themselves - the tasting menu was stellar, one customized for mostly vegetarian. Some of the dishes we'd had before, some were new. All were truly delicious. Superb. Finely balanced, creative, provocative adn reassuring at the same time. Truly fabulous. Thank you all so much.

This is by far one the best restaurants in Toronto. Being in business 11 years creating over 750 dishes that fuses cuisine from Asia, the meals are explosions of tastes. The sake menu is well crafted and is a good match to the food. And the service from Fred Chen and his team is simply impeccable! It's our favourite place to go to be happy and enjoy good vibes.

We did the DaiLos choice experience and it was honestly fantastic. Shannon took wonderful care of us and all the staff was very kind and very energetic. Each dish was served with a full explanation as well as a suggestion on the best way to enjoy it. I am vegetarian and they accommodated for that while still serving up an amazing meal that I'm going to be thinking about for many days to come. All in all a super awesome experience with wonderful food, service, flavor and vibes. Could not have asked for a better time

We chose the Chef's Special, and while the food was exceptional, the service fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, I requested a quiet table — something I had clearly noted in my reservation as it was our anniversary — but the hostesses responded with attitude and seated us at the entrance, right between two doors, explaining that all the other tables were “just set.” Twenty minutes later, a far-end booth became available, highlighting that my request could have easily been accommodated from the start. Our server's attention was lukewarm at best, with most of his focus directed toward a large nearby table. When presenting the dishes, it was difficult to stay engaged as he had a very visible black eye — an unfortunate and distracting detail in a fine dining setting. For a $400 dinner, the lack of attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism was deeply disappointing. We left feeling that the same amount would have been far better spent at Café Boulud at the Four Seasons, where the service and atmosphere consistently match the caliber of the cuisine.

One of Toronto's gems! A must on any Toronto restaurant list. Absolutely love Dailo and their team.

Kind of underwhelming. It's Michelin-esque. The flavours were mediocre. The temperature was uninteresting. The best part of the Sous vide chicken was the flavour of the rice on the side.

Rating Dailo as one of the top meals of my life. Roller Coaster of flavor and style. Had some great interactions with owners Jeff & Trevor discussing their philosophy on food and dining. Chef Tasting Menu is a must!

Incredible variety of food, so accommodating for dietaries (we did the tasting menu and I am pesce, my husband is not), the staff were unbelievably friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.
