Worst biriyani I have ever had. Extremely disappointed. Food was poorly prepared and had stomach pain after having the biriyani. Would recommend to never visit this restaurant. If there was an option I would’ve given ZERO stars. The girl server had an attitude and had the worst personality. Please stay away from this restaurant if you want to stay healthy

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE🤢
So we ordered chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani, black pepper chicken. The black pepper chicken was so cold like they served right out of freezer and didn’t even bothered to heat it before serving.
The pieces were burnt,dry.
When we said this to server that chicken cold, she went behind our back CUSSING in Malayalam as if we don’t get the language
One of the poorest customer service I have ever seen. We have been denied service and whatever we ask they are saying it gonna take long.
Really 15 mins for a ‘FROZEN PAROTTA’ guys???
We left the restaurant without even finishing
Regretting the $80 spent on this restaurant and that too on a new year🤦🏻♂️
I would give a zero if I can sadly Google doesn’t have that option to give zero stars😤😤

My husband and I recently went here to eat mutton biryani, and it was the best thing I would had in a long time. Authentic taste, perfect spice blend, and we tried their chicken chukka with parotta, which the girl working there recommended and it was worth trying. Highly recommended.

$17 for boneless chicken briyani. Disappointing as they took a drumstick and ripped it up and put it in the dish! That's not technically boneless! I've had better briyani for fraction of the price.
Save your money! Won't being going back to try anything else!

Food quality and taste was extremely bad. We ordered 2 mutton thalis - the briyanis had a bad raw smell in it and the gravies alongside the thalis where very bad.

Dindigul Thalappakattu Biriyani in Markham is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors. The biriyani here is outstanding, especially the mutton biriyani, which is packed with spices and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are generous, and the side dishes like kothu parotta and curries are equally delicious.
The ambiance is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While parking might be a little tight, the taste and quality of the food more than make up for it. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality you get.
Highly recommend it for biriyani lovers and anyone looking to explore South Indian cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back!
I haven’t had Indian food in a hot minute, and I was nearby when I decided to get some. This restaurant was one of the first ones to come up on Google, and they have lots of reviews with a 4.5 star average.
I ordered the mutton biryani, and boy oh boy did it not disappoint. Not only was it the best Indian food I’ve had, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It comes with a red sauce, not sure what it is, but it’s tasty, and another sauce with what I believe to be yogurt and chopped onions and chives. It’s the best sauce I’ve ever had.
I’ll make it an effort to drive to Scarborough every once in a while to patronize this restaurant, it was so worth it.
Also, some reviews say it’s a little more expensive than other places, but I found it to be worth it. I can think of many other foods you could buy for this price that wouldn’t taste nearly as good.
Thank you for your great food and service!
