Great coffee and staff. Everything was quick, easy, and fresh.

Disappointing service. I wasn’t asked whether my order was for takeaway or dine-in and was given my drink in a disposable cup by default. As a customer, I’m not supposed to know in advance that it would automatically be served in a disposable cup, nor was there any reason to assume it was a takeaway order. When I politely asked for a ceramic cup, the staff member responded rudely and argued that I should have mentioned it earlier. Better communication and basic courtesy would have made this experience much more pleasant.

Great ambiance and location but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. We ordered two flat whites and both were poorly made. The milk was steamed way too hot, to the point that our first sips actually burnt our tongues. For a so-called “specialty cafe”, this is a basic mistake. Very disappointing experience overall!

Great little spot to catch up on a good read or meet with friend. A tranquil spot amid the downtown chaos!

I've been coming here since ive been in canada. Kristin took my order today and as always the service was excellent professional and friendly no matter how packed the place is. However, my order was last in the line and she came out and cleaned counters and machine which I never seen before and some may ask why clean when customers are around? But lightly cleaning was nice to see cleaner counter top where coffee grounds and beans usually flies out and most importantly show staff work philosophy.

Staffs here is good, Coffee’s decent, food could be better but my problem is with whoever makes decision on the higher levels of the management of this establishment. Located in the business district of downtown Toronto it isn’t a shocker that most of the customers walking in here are working professionals. Obviously you guys know the target audience that you’re catering to which is most predominantly working professionals considering you’re surrounded by offices/banks/companies etc. So when you make policies that prevent the majority of your patrons from using their laptops in 75% of the cafe on a Wednesday afternoon you’re being inconsiderate to put it mildly. Now I understand the argument that people might not like people working on their laptops seated next to them if we were by a beach in the Bahamas but you’re in the financial district of the business centre of this country, make it make sense. I saw one other customer before me leave cuz she was told she can’t use the laptop where she was sitting, the place where she could sit and use the laptop was full cuz duh? People are usually working midweek at cafes in the financial district.

My daily go-to spot for espresso. The service is fast and they're a down-to-earth, friendly team — it's always an enjoyable chat if/when they have a few moments to spare. The espresso is strong and they do a great job calibrating the machines / grind so you get tasty espresso full of flavour. Plus, they sell pastries, sandwiches and other small bites so they're a one-stop shop to charge up for the day, do work, or take a meeting. Definitely the best coffee spot in the FiDi area — check it out.

Staff are very intimidating, they are not that friendly to Asians I see them having conversations with other people. Food/drinks are so so, I only loved their interior of the coffee place. I ordered matcha latte once or twice its tasteless straight powdered mix not recommended.

Dineen Coffee Co. is always a solid stop. The coffee is strong and smooth, flat white comes out perfect every time. Pastries are fresh—the almond croissant is flaky and not too sweet. Inside is gorgeous with the old tiles and high ceilings, feels fancy but not stuffy. Lots of seats, good light, and staff are quick and friendly. Great place for a proper coffee break.

It was amazing experience, loved the ambience!

We got the matcha latte and vanilla iced latte
Matcha latte was subtle, not too sweet. And the vanilla iced latte was very strong in syrup. Not our favourite but definitely worth the try.

Service was quick!
Overall pleasant experience

Nice iced coffee, although they close the patio weirdly early.

What the heck happened to my favourite coffee shop? 5 people behind the counter and only 1 making drinks. They were more interested in staring at their phones than serving the customers.
