Second time picking up a donut from their st lawrence market stall. First time was a sea salt something. This time the butter tart bomb.
Had to take a break from work to let everyone know this is the best donut in town.

The best donuts I have ever had, and I’m not a desert person. The sweetness is balanced, the dough is super soft, and it’s well filled. I love the crunchiness of the tart bomb.

Walked by and had to stop in because the donuts on display looked too good to pass up. Ended up getting their classic (salted brown sugar?) and one of their seasonal ones (creme brûlée pumpkin spice?). Both flavours were absolutely incredible! My husband said they were some of the best donuts he’s ever had. Owner was also very nice. Will for sure make a stop here if we visit Toronto again!
This place was on my “to go” list for quite sometime because I keep seeing it on ig, and let me tell you, breaking my diet was worth it 100000%! Must be some of the BEST donuts I’ve tried ever!
I wish I could’ve gone earlier (I went one hour before they closed) so there wasn’t a lot of selection left but the ones I got were OUTSTANDING. I got the brown butter sea salt (the girl at the front recommended it to me and she wasn’t lying when she said it was their best one!), and the other two were maple flavor but I can’t recall the full name, still, super delicious!
When I’m telling you they’re bigger than your hand is not an exaggeration, they’re super soft and fresh!
The cashier was super nice and helpful, even recommending me flavors! I’ll definitely be back to try more ! The only reason why I don’t give the full 5 starts is cause I wish there was a seating space inside, mostly now that the cold weather is coming.
But overall, these are one of the best donuts in Toronto! (And the price is amazing for how massive they’re!)

It was an absolute delight to find this hidden nook.
The location is in a bit of a tight spot, with barely any room for entry and just enough to place an order. They had quite a big variety and some rotational, which is what I picked. I also did pick up the Brown Butter Sea Salt.
The seasonal one was a bit forgettable but the Brown Butter one was sensational. A rich brioche with flecks of salt and the nuttiness of the brown butter? Absolutely incredible.
Definitely a go to if you want some solid donuts. Will say that some donuts are a hit or miss depending on sweetness preference, I did find the fritter very, almost sickeningly sweet.
Additionally, having some fold out chairs underneath the awning would be greatly appreciated to both dine and take in the scene of Kensington Market!

Easily the worst apple fritters I’ve ever had. They tasted like old oil and had a weird savoury taste. The dough was dry and crumbly too. I LOVE donuts, but eating these felt like a punishment. At over 4x the price, I would rather have Tim Horton’s over this.

One of the best donuts I've ever had! Great little find. Saving for whenever I'm nearby. Or even far away. It's totally worth it!

If I could give Dipped Donuts 100 stars, I would! I purchased one dozen donuts chef’s choice, for my friend’s baby shower. The pricing was very reasonable and the donuts did not disappoint. They quickly became the star of the dessert table, and guests would not stop asking me where the delicious donuts were from. I’ve been to both Dipped Donuts locations – Kensington and Parkdale – they each have their own flair to it; as well as the staff at both locations are awesome and very professional. Parkdale offers more than just donuts; from there I would recommend the cheddar jalapeño scone, chai latte, and of course, the classic brown butter sea salt donut. The location has such a vibe; service and atmosphere are amazing – I will definitely be coming back! 😊

Uncle Pete's Bread Co. serves great sandwiches. Great portion too! Not sure why it's not shown on Google maps right now. It's in the same store as Dipped doughnut. Don't miss getting your sandwich when you're around Kengsinton market.

Service was kind and friendly. As a tourist it is frustrating to me not to know ahead of time what donuts are available. I had to show up and hope there was something that I would like (and it was a 30-minute walk). I ended up getting 6 donuts to try and only really enjoyed 2 of them, but those 2 were really delicious (the Butter Tart and the Cookies n Cream). This place is extremely small so be prepared to wait outside if you arrive and someone else is inside. I really splurged for these donuts and I wouldn't say they were really worth the price. If I knew that they would definitely have something I'd like then I would visit again, but I wouldn't if I couldn't see the offerings ahead of making the trip.
