This was my fifth time dining here and now writing a review for the first time. It used to be one of my favourite places in the city, but sadly the quality of food has absolutely declined since my last time a year ago. This time we got six dishes:
- Pomme dauphines: A staple at this place and used to always hit. Not sure if we just got a bad batch, but this time they were cold and soggy. There was also a whole piece of dill on the topping which really should've been chopped up. Cured salmon roe was quite nice though.
- Cappelletti aux duxelles: The only enjoyable dish that night. Perfectly cooked pasta with a very strong mushroom jus that worked well.
- Fish soup with saffron and mussels: The combination of white fish/mussels in a broth that was a mix of tomato-y and a white, light broth didnt work and really detracted from what could've been a nice side dish.
- Trout and leeks pastry: Really wanted to like this, but the end result was quite bland and could not be saved by the otherwise excellent beurre blanc sauce.
- Duck with sausage: Quite possibly the worst dish of the night. Duck was dry. The house made sausage with offals was, without exaggeration, absolutely flavorless that it was shocking. Both of which were served on a bed of baked beans that were only a few steps removed from the Heinz brand in terms of flavour.
The service was average that night, but worse than what we experienced previously. Hopefully this was just an off night for them.

Went with friends on a recommendation. Cozy spot. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Menu is sharing type and staff helped us walk thru it, understand the portion sizes so we could order the right amount. Food was fantastic. Well presented and prepared as well as being tasty. Nice wine list and staff were helpful selecting a wine that would go with what we ordered. Would recommend trying it out.

Great spot with amazing service. It’s a small, cozy space so doesn’t feel snobby/too snobby. We sat at the bar and was cool watching them prep cocktails and small dishes. The menu changes weekly.
We had the tuna (very soft and flavourful), lamb tartar (very mild and stuffed olives were great) and the very unique trout and leek pastry puff. The French toast was a cool savoury dessert. The server was very knowledgeable.

As a French food lover I am biased. Every single dish is made with care and portions are great. Go and feel great. Take your date or best friend for a real treat.

Best hidden gem in town, best one is the lamb fish and salmon on bread, it seems they change menu quickly

Cosy restaurant. Interesting and eclectic menu. Definitely a Foodie destination. Not recommended for picky eaters. Unusual and intriguing wine list, with a good by-the-glass offering.

Outstanding food and service. My husband and I went for dinner last night had an amazing meal. We sat at the bar enjoyed amazing cocktails and service from the bartender. He knew the menu top to bottom and was able to guide us through an amazing meal. Thank you to the Dreyfus team!

Absolutely incredible experience at Dreyfus, the setting is very french and cozy with trinkets and memorabilia that decorate the walls and the shelves above the dining tables. The staff is very attentive and take you through the whole menu as soon as your seated, they also offer recs that go well together so you know you’re getting the best food experience. We had the pommes dauphines, tuna on toast, poireaux with shrimp and the striped sea bass. Ended the night with blue cheese sur pain perdu and poires pochées All 10/10. Will definitely be back again.

I sent them an email regarding their wheelchair policy and I still haven't heard back. If you're too busy to respond to your potential guests then I'm not sure I want to be a potential guest at your restaurant
Here's a response to your response, I actually sent the email on Thursday, November 6 and today is Tuesday, November 11… To my knowledge that would be five days not the same day. It's funny how you are claiming that it's the same day when clearly it's not, I would post a picture but I'm not wasting any more time on this. It's sad that you have the time to respond to someone's review about your business but you didn't take the time to respond in time to my question about whether you are wheelchair accessible. That is on you, don't make this about me.

A bit disappointing for the price. The steak was under seasoned imo and the food was good but not amazing.

Had a nice anniversary dinner and the waiter talked to the kitchen to get us a special egg free dessert. Thanks Maxwell!

Let our server last night order all of our dishes and the wine pairing…absolutely nailed it. Incredible service and food.

We came here for a friend's birthday because she's been wanting to check out this restaurant so I did have fairly high expectations and was severely disappointed. The tartare was under seasoned, we didn't like the mackerel at all, the entire octopus dish was burnt and bitter. The other dishes were ok but wasn't anything special. My favorite dish was the Cafe choco dessert
