The restaurant is quite small and can get noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic dinner. That said, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the experience very pleasant.

The food I tried was excellent — the pommes dauphines and tagliatelle were delicious, but the real star of the night was the pork chop; Juicy, tender, and served with an incredible sauce. The only letdown was the artichoke, which was served cold and could have been better.

Overall, a great spot for flavorful dishes and warm service, just not the quietest atmosphere.

The service at Dreyfus is without a doubt some of the best service I’ve had in Toronto. The rotating menu is a gamble. I’m sure the food here has been good, but this time around it was generally underwhelming. Great ingredients but bland and generic. The tuna was okay, lettuce salad was great, steak was $100 and underwhelming.

I’ll start this off by saying I’ve been twice before and absolutely loved it. However this specific time left a lot to be desired. Everything was good but nothing stood out. Started off great with the steak tartare, salad was good but nothing special - kind of prefer the Bernhardts salad. Fish was extremely tender but the beans and labneh felt very mediocre. Same with the Guinea fowl, yes I’m getting great crispy skin, but you’re only going to serve it with some corn and jus? The jus was flavourful, the corn was sweet but at the end it just tasted like a roasted bird with some gravy and corn. Dessert was phenomenal. I’ll be back, just not as soon as last time.

What a lovely experience at Dreyfus! Perfect date night spot & the service was phenomenal (I would recommend asking the server for their picks off the menu). The staff were all so friendly, We ordered 3 dishes + dessert it was perfect for 2 of us. The beef tartare is a must!

So excited to try Dreyfus for a birthday dinner. Steak tar tar was amazing as was the pomme app. Pasta was okay- thought it would be more rich as well as the chicken main. Servers were super knowledgeable with wine list and digestive! Great place - would recommend sitting at bar for a full experience!

Came here for dinner with friends. The server was a delight and took her time explaining every dish. The food was delicious and well presented. Some of the flavour combinations were not to my taste, mainly the use of horseradish on the tomato salad as it overpowered the tomato. Definitely worth a visit.

Went on a Friday right when restaurant opened and luckily got a table without a reservation.

Service was amazing, super helpful with wine and food choices.

The menu changes daily, which is cool. Food was a bit too salty and heavy for me.

Still worth trying if you’re curious, just don’t expect too much from the food.

I’ve been here twice and wanted to love it given the accolades but found the food to be fine with no real standouts. We had the heirloom tomato salad, ribeye, cod and Tartare. The steak was a bit overdone (and cost $150+) and the tartare had too much going on.

I visited last year and was super unimpressed with the food and flavor combinations. I was really expecting a montreal quaint restaurant vibe but it was your basic dishes that you see everywhere at a premium

Food 4.5/5 Service 4.5/5
Start with starters, tuna tartare with tomatoes was plain, tomatoes came a bit sour and sweet yet the tuna was not tasteful. Baby artichokes with clams were good, liked the artichokes more. Zucchini with peppers were a bit exaggerated in sauce, too much oil and sauce. Sweetbread BBQ was really good, the best I have tried in Toronto so far, soft, juicy, and yummy. Swordfish was good, balanced in taste and quality. Finally the duck was good it itself, tender and tasty, but the core base and sauce was too much and very salty.
We sit at bar and vibes were very nice. The guy made the cocktail kinda a mix of margaritas and mojito, really enjoyed it.
Overall a nice spot to enjoy a good vibe.
