We always enjoy dining here. We have a son with many food allergies and the kitchen is always quite careful for him and we've never had an issue. This staff is always quite attentive and makes sure his food is safe for him. I do wish they would put the scallops back on the menu and offer less deep fried options in the appetizers.
really disappointed with my visit:( waitress dropped a loaf of bread on me, leaving a large oil stain on my white shirt, and she still served it to my table. we weren't told of auto gratuity, and it wasn't included on the bill. i used 1500 (15 dollars worth of) scene points for my bill of 52 dollars, and still after the gratuity the waitress ADDED HERSELF- the price remained nearly the same. just very disappointed with this experience and the service
Its just to expensive to go to east side marios. Ordered 5 spaghetti and meatballs and 1 veal with pasta and after taxes and tip came out to $198. Better places and food for that price. I won't be going back anytime soon.
Soup and salad were served quite quickly. We were with 2 small children (1year old and and 10 month old. The children were very hungry. I had to ask where there food was . We waited 40 minutes for the kids food !
I asked for my points the moment I arrive she did check my name. I didn't get the email then before I leave I mentioned it again then I call the restaurant from my car and the bartender say don't worry I take care of it and went to talk to the hostess and I'm still waiting for the email With my points from OpenTable I was kind of excited because I was needing these last points to get my reward now I have to go somewhere else to get it because they never sent me that email with my points I was there Friday Jan 17 11 30 reservation for 4 , mozzarella sticks were ok though
2022: Our waitress Ghazal was super. She was really good with kids, polite, fast and efficient. Made the experience very enjoyable. 5 Stars.
Update in Jan 2025: We went today again and the experience was quite different and not noticeable the service was not what it used to be. The waitress was nowhere welcoming as our last experience a couple years ago. Also towards the end she started talking quite long with somebody some friends it looks like and didn’t come back to us for a long time asking see if we wanted to get the bill or anything else when it was clear we were done for a while. When we gave her the kids card to redeem a chiller, she started denying it without reading the conditions and I had to convince her. She did check with her manager eventually and confirmed it’s fine and apologized but it’s obviously she was grumpy. When we told her it’s our son’s birthday, she didn’t even say Happy Birthday or anything.
At the end she didn’t even say thank you after we still gave a decent tip.
The main dishes were OK. However the quality of the garlic bread was not what it used to be. They were too butter, not as crispy and fresh as they used to be.
I will probably not come back to this location any more.

For the last round of birthday dinners, this time with family, we decided to try East Side Mario’s. I was surprised to realize I had never been here before, despite passing by the restaurant multiple times a week.
We shared Calamari al Diavolo, Mozzarella Sticks, Bruschetta Flatbread, Linguine Chicken Amatriciana, Triple Threat Parmigiana, and Mario’s Chicken Parmigiana. Overall, the food quality was surprisingly good. While the Mozzarella Sticks and pastas were slightly above standard, given the reasonable pricing and generous portions, I have no complaints. The only dish that fell short was the Bruschetta Flatbread, which tasted bland compared to the others.
The Parmigianas were the highlight, especially the Triple Threat, which was a first for me. The sauces were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was prepared beautifully, earning two thumbs up. However, the star of the night was the Calamari al Diavolo. The hearty tomato broth with just the right kick of spice, combined with the peppers and calamari, made it outstanding. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind coming back just for this dish, it’s that good. If there’s a better version out there, someone needs to enlighten me.
While the food was satisfying, the service left room for improvement. Our designated server was spotty, with unclear answers to our inquiries and a lack of attentiveness. Thankfully, other servers stepped in and were more accommodating, which helped salvage the experience.
Despite the service hiccups, I’m glad to have discovered this place. It’s a spot where I can enjoy good food and create great memories with family.
