Best pub-style food in the neighborhood. Period. Needless to mention the beers they craft. Service is friendly and natural, no trace of that typical Toronto's fake server voice you so often find in many establishments. Reasonable prices. On top of that, music is not loud and the acoustics are good which makes chatting while grabbing a bite there an even more pleasant experience.

Love this place! It's like having an extended family. Great food, lots of varieties of craft beer, and a welcoming atmosphere. They're succeeding in the goal of being a community hub. The special-event dinners are always memorable, with large tables and family-style shared dishes.

I had the Oatmeal Stout and the Houndstooth Irish Red. The oatmeal stout was good and thick, the houndstooth was crisp and sharp.
I ate a fried chicken sandwich with Parmesan fries. Every sip was lovely and every bite was scrumptious.
The service was friendly and consistent but not imposing on our dining experience.

This Downtown East gem is perfect for craft beer enthusiasts! 🍺 The beer is brewed right in-house, and their menu creatively incorporates American & Italian flavors with beer-infused dishes.

What we loved:

✅Beer Flights (CAD 12.5): Try four small pours, including seasonal favorites like "Gimme Some Lovin for the Holidays."
Ricotta Gnudi: Light, cheesy dumplings with a perfect balance of sweet and savory.
✅PEI Mussel Bowl: Fresh mussels cooked in beer-infused Michelada tomato sauce, paired with grilled bread.
✅Grilled Bread Trio (CAD 25): Smoky fish spread, ham with green tomato, and roasted eggplant dip—great variety!

The space is cozy yet spacious, ideal for casual dinners or catching up with friends over great drinks. They even offer a weekend brunch and a CAD 60 shareable menu for two!

📍 Location: 700 Queen St E, Toronto (steps from Broadview TTC)
🎯 Pro Tip: Make a reservation for dinner—it’s popular for a reason!

Warm vibes, delicious beer, and creative dishes make this a go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot with great beer and above average food. I had the duck confit which was spectacular. We also played low-key trivia which was fun!

The constantly-inventive menu pairs beautifully with one of the city's finest selections of craft beer. This year's Christmas Weizenbock is one of their all-time best holiday brews. The staff are always charming and accommodating, the venue has all the warm, inviting comfort of a contemporary European beer hall, and we're proud to consider it our "local" despite it being some 4K away. One of our favourite spots for an affordable, cozy night out. Their pickles are a must.
