We chose Canoe as a place to celebrate a special birthday. When I booked I shared my hope for the evening and the staff made everything come true. I wanted my partner to have a chance to enjoy our dinner with a beautiful view of the city and feel special. The staff welcomed us and prepared our table by the window, there was a Happy Birthday welcome greeting and then the service began. Our drinks, our food and our deserts were amazing. We could not have asked for anything more! It truly was a special evening. Thanks to all staff for going the extra mile.

Very impressive restaurant! First the view is second to none on the 54th floor with views of the CN tower and the financial district. To me the restaurant felt like a place for lawyers, financial people and anyone celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary etc). This is a place for foodies. There is an open kitchen and a huge emphasis on presentation. The service is perfect, friendly, not too much, not to little and even able to answer any question regarding what I was looking at outside the windows:). The only caution is there is a very limited menu and the portion sizes are smaller than a typical restaurant, but again the emphasis is on presentation, taste, and the experience is truely top notch!

Overall our experience was ok .striploin Steak was way below a fine dining standards The waiter did agree and informed the chef about it. We left without ordering any dessert Fantastic view though.

Located in the TD Wellington underground food court, I have absolutely no complaints. The food is fantastic, and you will get a lot of it, and the service is always warm and friendly. If you need some cheap Chinese fast food for lunch in the Financial District this is the spot!

There's a reason why Canoe has been an institution for so long in Toronto to when it comes to dining. It continues to churn out great food with the highest level of service. However I feel that there is a lot more competition these days; a huge departure to when Canoe was considered the best. As great as their dishes are, without the service and the view, the dishes struggle to stick out from the crowd.

I was disappointed because l took a friend out for lunch for her 60 th birthday and requested a window seat and arrived, and there was a table with window seat and the hostess said that's a table for three if the third person doesn't show up, we can move you. Quite honestly, she could've moved that group to where we were sitting was very disappointed for someone's birthday. I am aware of. It's not guaranteed in a window seat, but she could've made a change that day. The attitude and being brushed off was not very nice. Euros Also,food was lukewarm. And we had numerous people serving us not the same waiter and a couple of people really didn't know what they were doing whose food was what numerous times this was my first impression of this restaurant. I was not impressed. For the money I spent I should've went to Harbour 60.

This was my first time I had been to canoe in 25 years and was really looking forward to a special meal with my family. Unfortunately, the meal did not meet my expectations primarily because the food was undercooked, not very flavourful and very average. My family did not think the food was very good either for such a high-end establishment. However, the service and the ambiance were spectacular.
Went for an anniversary with my partner and the vibes were perfect. We had a wonderful time with our host and even offered to move our seats closer to the window for a better view during our time.
