Mulligatawny Soup + a Samosa for the win. Nice ladies and good food. A great lunch spot for when you're looking for something easy.

I worked in the Yorkville area a few years ago, that’s when I found this little gem of awesomeness. I was hooked instantly to their homemade curries made daily by just the sweetest group of ladies. Esther Queen of Soups is what you want if you want delicious food fast. *Also…THEIR SAMOSAS ARE THE BEST IN THE CITY!!

Esther really is the queen of soup! I tried her chicken broth with rice last week and it was so delicious that I went again today. It's very flavourful and I loved the naan too! All for a great price ($8 for a small soup + naan). I'll definitely continue to return :)

Relationship between this store and hygiene is a distant one. Should be reported.

Not worth price and does not compare to what is advertised in website

I don't leave reviews but had to this time. How disgusting is it to find tiny hairs in the soup? Like common. Just thinking of it is repulsing.

Great lunch spot with friendly staff and amazing soup. Try the rolls as well!

Well, I ordered a simple chicken noodle soup. It had zero flavour, no vegetables, and macaroni noodles and no bread. Cost over $8. I added salt and that didn’t even help. Took 2 more bites and had to leave it behind. I was quite disappointed by the queen of soups.

Went for a quick lunch. I got the chicken soup with noodles. The soup was pretty basic just some chicken pieces and noodles without any vegetables! Did not enjoy it at all. Also tried the samosa and that was decent.

She makes the best shrimp and fish curry! Absolutely divine and her hospitality is impeccable

It's a good place to have a quick bite when you're in the area. I ordered a curry chicken on pita. It's ok. May be I will order their more famous soups next time.
