“One of my personal favourite restaurants to eat at; this place has been around since 1984. Amazing food, awesome friendly staff, and a very contemporary vibe overall. You can ask for a board to play trivia on, and the family section is a great place to bring children. Always packed around 6:00pm. My family and I have been coming here our whole lives and we have grown to love the staff and the restaurant. I would 100% recommend to a friend 👍“

“Went to this location for the first time last week Friday and it was fantastic. The lady at the counter was great. I ordered suya, plantain and puff puff - it was fresh and very delicious. The puff puff comes in the cute black and yellow design bag.

I went again yesterday. This time I ordered just the suya and puff puff and it tasted amazing as well. Definitely check them out. I know I'll be back again.“

​We have been loyal customers at Vila Verde for a long time, and they never fail to make us feel like family. This past Christmas Day was a perfect example of why we keep coming back. Even though the restaurant was busy and certain sections were closed off, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, letting us sit in our favorite spot near the back so we could enjoy a quiet holiday meal.

“My favourite place to get a curry in Toronto. Recommend the Everest thali combo with lamb saag; great value at $18.50 for three curries plus rice, naan, and dessert. Also recommend the lamb keema naan and talmuni soup for a quick lunch. These guys have been in business for over 20 years (they used to be on Yonge south of Wellesley) and I've never had a bad meal here!“
