Sumi was our server and she was amazing!! The fact of was delicious but the sheppards pie was a bit small.
Reservation for 4 prior to theatre. We were early, and seated upstairs. Took a while for waiter to take drink orders, gets 3 of them and abandons ship before the 4th can get make her order. Drinks arrive, gets the 4th drink order plus food orders. Two minutes later the first dish arrives with the drink - then nothing. For 35 minutes. Despite multiple assurances the food was coming soon. Food finally arrives - 2 of the three dishes have clearly been under the heat lamp and have that warmed-up, leftover taste. Our waiter is nowhere to be seen. Finally drops by after 20 minutes go by and we ask for bill. Meanwhile, table behind us has come in, eaten, paid their bill and left. Another 15 minutes go by and waiter still hasn't come by with the bill but multiple table are getting their drinks and orders. (Want to note it was busy-ish but their were multiple waiters in the area) We get up to leave with intent to pay at the welcome counter. Run into waiter on the stairs and say we will meet him at welcome counter to pay - more time wasted. Alternative rock on the sound system was loud enough to make it extremely difficult to carry on a conversation. 100 minutes of our lives we won't get back. Won't be back.
Our server ran a marathon to help us have a great time. He recommended great food and gave his honest opinions about our order. However, my complaint is not with him. Do not sit upstairs - whoever is the manager put only one server on the top floor - how is a server supposed to serve an entire floor on their own? Our appetizer came at the same time as our meal, and as we were in a hurry to catch a show at Massey Hall, we ate our food and left pretty much the entire plate of nachos. Which restaurant serves the nachos appetizer at the same time as the meal? What a waste of food and money. I do not blame the server. I blame the management, the kitchen the manager...better planning for better service upstairs is required. Especially if you're in a hurry for a Massey Hall Show - getting there at 6:00pm on a Friday is not early enough for an 8:00pm show. I wanted a NEW menu item which had great reviews, but couldn't get it because they were missing a vital ingredient. The one in the title - avocado. I am not one to usually complain, but this was a very disappointing waste of money by leaving food on our plate - going to a show is not the time to take a doggy bag. Now, I will say, we had the butter chicken and the fish tacos and the food was superb! Best butter chicken I've had in a long time. And our server needs a medal for how he served us with a smile while running to serve an entire floor on his own. Advice? If in a hurry, sit downstairs.
Our server was excellent, and did everything right. He was super friendly. We were seated upstairs in the back. It looked like an unused area and was not properly finished but the place was really busy. It was noisy as there was a Christmas party going on. We weren't seated right beside the group so it wasn't too bad. I ordered a glass of house red wine, which was good. The person with me ordered a non alcoholic cocktail and she was impressed with the selection of non alcoholic drinks. The food was very disappointing. We both ordered the fish and chips. The coleslaw was delicious - not enough of it. The fries were good but the fish was dry and overcooked. It looked like it was leftover from lunch and we needed to use knives to cut through it. We didn't send it back but did give the feedback to our server at the end. He apologized and told us that they tend to overcook it. We would return but would not order the fish again.
Lovely pub, with great and friendly staff. Good choices of beer and the snacks were pretty delicious too.
Great place to hangout, try this! Travis is great!

Came here with a few friends for drinks and although the starters were just ok, the drinks were great and the service was lovely! We had Leo as our server so stunningly gorgeous, looks aside Leo was very prompt, organized and friendly. We obviously had to be generous with our tip. definitely come for some casual drinks:)

Our server was fantastic. Drinks and food arrived quickly as we had a show to attend at Massey Hall. Great experience. Thank you.

Been here couple of times, during a blue jays game. Atmosphere and service is great, food this time was a bit to be desired. Ordered fish and chips, looked very tasty and probably would have been if it was hot. Nothing good about cold fries. Will be back as I like the spot, but maybe just for drinks.
