The food was delicious and portions were generous. Staff was friendly.
We did have to wait 45 minutes for our food though, which was a super huge inconvenience. They didn’t even apologize for the lengthy wait time.

I typically love a good diner experience. Unfortunately the food fell short for us. If you're going to Fran's, especially this location, stick to the breakfast. We had the lunch here and it was mediocre at best. Kids burger was dry, the Sheppard's pie had no taste, and the Ruben sandwich was way too salty (needed lots of water!) The service/server was excellent though and was a highlight of this meal.

The breakfast was ok. Just had the general bacon and egg. Nothing out of this world but I was pleased.

Great place to eat before going to the theatre. It’s on the same block as the theater. They have a lot of dishes on the menu both for meat and vegetarian. They do an all day breakfast sandwich, sandwiches, and burgers. And they have weekly specials. Large seating area.

Typical greasy spoon. Older help...older menu....older everything. Don't expect a official 5 star restaurant....but you will have a 5 star experience!

Came here for dinner before going to a show. The food is very mid. Nothing special about any of it. Service was terrible.
Big warning: The washroom was so gross.

My kids went for a great breakfast yesterday! The server was entertaining and kept them laughing. So lucky to have places like this still. Thank you!

Cute diner in Toronto! A bit more expensive, but not unfairly priced. Friendly staff and cute 60s esc style!

Went after a show. Was nearly empty when we entered the restaurant. We ordered immediately to beat the crowd. My jaw dropped watching our server prepare and serve milkshakes and coffee for almost 40 minutes. We only had 75 minutes for a diner quick serve supper, so after 60 minutes we left her cash for our soft drinks and left. She was fine with that, acknowledging they were under staffed. But it left us scrambling to get our train home. Don’t go if you think you’ll be in and out in under an hour after a show.
