I’m a daily customer at Full Stop Coffee on Dundas St West, and while I usually love this place for its great coffee and friendly staff, today’s experience was completely unacceptable.

This morning, I was served by the same blonde-haired woman who has repeatedly been unwelcoming and careless with service. My coffee was served lukewarm instead of hot, even though it was a simple hot beverage order. I didn’t ask to warm up any food today, but based on previous visits, I’ve had similar disappointing experiences when she’s working — including being refused when I politely asked to have a muffin or croissant warmed up.

It’s frustrating because the rest of the team consistently does an excellent job — they’re polite, attentive, and always serve drinks exactly as ordered. Even a new trainee last week managed to provide better service and attention to detail. This clearly shows the issue isn’t with the café itself, but with this specific staff member’s lack of effort and disregard for basic service standards.

As someone who visits Full Stop every single day, this ongoing issue feels like a real waste of money and patience. I’m posting this review so that the owners are aware, because the café overall is fantastic — but one employee’s careless attitude is truly affecting the reputation and experience of an otherwise great coffee shop. This needs to be addressed.

I like this coffee shop! Their iced lattes are great! Just lose a star for always having one person at the counter, morning rush to 10am should always have at least 2/3 people. Sometimes I have to leave the line cause the wait time is too long.

Full Stop Coffee is one of the go-to coffee spots in the Junction neighbourhood. They offer a decent selection of both coffee and non-coffee beverages, cookies, and sandwiches. While I don't drink coffee myself, I thought their tea lattes and ciders were good.

The space has airy feel with plenty of seating, and free WiFi for those who plans to do some work or studying here. There's also a large space in the back perfect for collaborative work or group meetings. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the patio in the back opens up when the weather is nice.

The staff here are friendly and welcoming. However, because there's usually only one person working, the service can be a bit slow, especially if you drop in during a busy moment with lots of people.

Best coffee shop in the neighbourhood. Each cup is robust and smooth. Wait times can be long if there is a line because they have only one staff member at the counter. The baking is always fresh with vegan options available. You see people working on their laptops and it’s probably a great space for that but it doesn’t feel cozy enough to hang out as catch up with a friends. A double cappuccino and a piece of carrot cake with tip was $12.

i dream about the cornflake chocolate chip cookie…

Great lattes. I love the seasonal gingerbread latte and my husband really likes their vanilla latte. The vanilla syrup is made in house. Their corn flake and chocolate chip cookie is probably one of my favourite cookies ever.
