We got the plates dirty, then they bring another plate dirty and the food was not good. We are not coming again.

This was a late lunch. Around 2:00. We both had the bacon burger. It was very good. The meat was not over cooked, had a nice crust. Just perfect. Fries and a glass if wine, made the meal complete.

Gabby's has a friendly atmosphere, tasty food and prices that remind me of 'the good old days.' Servers are very kind and will go the extra mile for you. One server, a student of medecine, went so far as to offer free food to a friend whose blood sugar level suddenly dropped. The only drawback is that, due to extreme popularity, at peak times, you may have to wait up to 45 minutes to be served.

Don't go here to eat. This was my second time there. The first time was terrible but I thought maybe it was just that time. Went to Gaby's on Dundas West for breakfast around 11am. The waitress gave us the regular menu- not a breakfast menu. Looking back, I should have taken that as a red flag. She was trying to save us. The coffee was dishwater, scrambled eggs were almost cold, reheated from god knows when, the back bacon WAS cold, the toast was not toasted- I sent it back right off the bat and asked her to get it done 'properly'. She laughed and repeated 'properly?' But before it even came back I called her over and told her I could not eat this cold food. She quickly took it away saying she'll take it off the bill. One of my friends had pancakes- reheated tough as leather, and the other french toast- almost cold, tough reheated old bread. I was thinking 'where's the manager'. Felt sorry for the waitress later but can't help feeling she was complicit. She could have warned us. Someone goes to all the trouble of setting up a restaurant and then doesn't keep an eye on it. It doesn't deserve to survive. Perhaps people only come to drink.

Awesome bar food. The Ghost Chilli Wings were BANGING! Half on Mondays and Wednesdays! Service is friendly and personal. All the staff are lovely, but specific shout out to David who made my visits so welcoming. Gabby's, you have a new fan.

We're from BC and usually find prices in downtown Toronto very expensive so we were very pleasantly surprised to find reasonable drink and food prices at Gabby's. The service was good so we really enjoyed our experience there.

Terrible service. I was out with friends and ordered the potato skins which were supposed to have cheese, tomatoes and green onions on them. The server didn't inform me that they had run out of green onions and delivered the potato skins to me without them. I commented to the server that they didn't have any green onions on them and he said "ya we ran out of them" in a dismissive tone and without any concern for my issue. I had had one drink at that point and decided not to order anything else. I ate the potato skins unhappily and didn't leave a tip (after the server asked if I wanted change, which should never be asked just bring the change). As I was leaving the server was staring and muttering under his breath at me. This was the first and last time I went and I recommend you avoid this toxic place. Awful.

Stopped at Gabby’s twice on our recent visit to Toronto. Great service - our waitress, Katherine, was very busy but super friendly. Average/good drinks. Great food and service. Outdoor patio area is very nice. Indoors great old pub feel. We will be back!

We went to get some Indian food and got lost and ended up at Gabby's. We looked at the menu, it was not appetizing at all. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and we did not even finish drinking them. Not our cup of tea.

We went here for a late lunch bite and some beers. We ordered the Social Platter. Tastewise it was ok. However, way too many chips and garlic bread. More fillers than quality. Service was very friendly.

Tried this place for the first time. They do not disinfect the tables after each guest. I observed this while waiting forever to be served. The place is dirty. The food there is not good...it looks like left overs from the night before. Waitress of Indian decent serving us was rude and not friendly when I asked why they were not disinfecting after guests. When we addressed our concerns to management they couldn't care less and told us not to come back. Save your time and money and go to a restaurant that will appreciate your business and take your feedback to do better.

The food is decent. But I've encountered one server who is perpetually in a bad mood. Regardless of what was requested, this person was just always miserable, which negatively affected my experience.

We just did a pick up order from Gabby's. Our food was ready on time. The order was well wrapped so it was hot when we arrived home. Our wings were crisp on the outside, hot and tender inside. The medium sauce was just spicy enough. Fries and onion rings were excellent. We will definitely order from Gabby's again.
