Walked by on a Saturday night with my partner and decided to give it a try since it looked so cozy. Got greated with a smile by Robin. Had happy hour cocktails that were delicious (espresso martini & cosmo) and even though they didn’t have their full menu, had our money’s worth with the crab cakes, chicken parm and the mushroom pastas.
Highly recommend! Robin was amazing throughout the whole night and we’ll certainly be back for more!
Thanks to the whole team :)

Gardel has reopened! Stopped by gor brunch and got;
- Chicken Milanesa: Tasty breading on the chicken that wasn't overly thick so the meat still came through. Chimichurri mayo added a nice kick to the sandwich. The home fries were heavily seasoned which I loved.
- Shakshuka Skillet: Pretty standard shakshuka, though serving size was a bit small.
Place is casual and cozy. Service is friendly. Kitchen is relatively quick. Prices are what prices are these days. Overall a pretty good spot for brunch.
It's a lovely restaurant in the city's eastern part, featuring Art Deco decor, a fantastic and straightforward menu, and friendly, diligent servers and bartenders. Prices are affordable. We tried the eggplant caponata and the steak, and to my surprise, both dishes were extremely well-made. The chef prepared the freshest and most subtle chimichurri with basil. And bartenders made us a Pisco sour. I recommend this place, and I can't wait to return!

Very poor service and terrible watered down cocktails. We were planning to stay for tapas too but decided not to after getting poor service from the server.

Dinner with 6 friends. Service was dismal. Waited 30 minutes for 1st round of drinks. Ordered 3 apps as starters. They took 50 minutes to come out each ever 20 minutes. We were the only table inside and 2 tables outside with 4 people at each. 4 mains came out over the next hour with 2 burgers very under cooked at rare and the final 2 mains (steak) came out 20 minutes after everyone else finished dinner and they were also rare. Had to send them back. Waiter said that’s what tapas service is. This isn’t a tapas restaurant.absolute garbage. Would never go back.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!Tiramisu Pancakes - An indulgent, sweet and rich layer of mascarpone cream drowns the stack of three, accompanied with a dose of espresso syrup and cocoa powder and some whipped cream on top. Soaking in to all the crevasses of the pancake, it was similar to a tiramisu.
The most incredible espresso martini ever!

This restaurant was amazing. Celebrated Mother's day and it was absolutely wonderful. They offered high tea and we loved it.OMG the pastries , the tea and the jams. So good ! We also ordered from the menu. Eggs, french toast...everything was delicious. As for the service 10+++. I look forward to visiting this establishment again for dinner and drinks. Thanks Gardel!

Great ambiance, good food, cocktails and wine selection - all reasonably priced!They also have a covered patio which is pretty nice and warm even on a cold day.. Def can't wait to check it out in the summer.Definitely one of my fav spots in the east end. An added plus is the staff is very friendly!

We went for brunch on a Saturday, and it was amazing! Half of us did bottomless which we are all coming back for. The food was delicious and our waiter James was so kind and really went above and beyond in making our time so awesome. Definitely coming back for brunch and to try their dinner menu :)

Randomly popped by this place and had an amazing brunch on Good Friday. Fantastic Euro-Latin vibe with classy and brassy decor. Bottomless mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice, blt’s with thick cut bacon made with super fresh rye bread to die for and an incredibly unique and flavourful French toast. Staff were on point with service, couldn’t have asked for better. We’re already planning a second visit as the dinner menu looks like it will appease everyone in my picky family!
