My partner and I went to the Gardel for Valentines Dinner. Great warm service, lovely atmosphere, music and the food was fantastic!!! We had the trh Gardel mcoktails, Beet Carpaccio, grilled asparagus, camaron am mojo dr ajo (shrimp), crab croquette, coq au vin and finished off with the chocolate mousse. Every dish was filled with flavour and presented beautifully. The team here was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I recently dined at Gardel in Toronto, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The star of the show was undoubtedly the steak; it was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. Gardel truly knows how to grill a steak!But that’s not all - their in-house pumpkin spice cheesecake was a delightful surprise. Creamy, rich, and with just the right amount of spice, it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.Whether you’re a fan of Burrata or looking for exquisite drinks to accompany your meal, Gardel is the place to be. It’s a culinary gem in Toronto that knows how to satisfy your taste buds. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings. Highly recommended this place .
The three of us were on Gardel's patio, which is lovely. The steaks were lightly seasoned to perfection and very tender. The grilled octopus was delicious. Kudos to the chef! Our server was professional and warm. They make great cocktails. Inside it's cozy with a sweet little bar. It was a great experience and I'll go back.
Great food and service!! Definitely recommend the shrimp cocktail and steak with parm fries… SO GOOD! Yum-o!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for Gluten-Free, lots of options and seemed happy to alter if required.
Gardel wasn't the experience we wished for. Made a reservation for 12 people. We were put in the back enclosed patio on a cold day. Someone could have put on the heaters at least 20 minutes before we got there. So cold on all the seats and the room. The table wasn't set with cutlery etc. which was a pain in the ass when we finally got food, that was in the pass forever then no cutlery to eat it. Drinks took 20 minutes. Our server was very green. She had no clue how to serve or take orders. The kitchen worked their ass off to make all the meals ordered in a timely manner but no one picked it up. We waited forever for food & drinks. I called and left a msg for an owner to call me back. But no one did. Embarrassing that i recommended this for a family gathering. Food would have been great but suffered due to untrained staff. 2 stars for kitchen staff.
