Came here on Wednesday for a couple drinks stayed for the music. Service was on point and the drinks were quite good. They had a singer who was killing it playing all of my favourite jazz toons from back in the day, really elevated the atmosphere, will definitely be back for more great music.
Yesterday was quite an experience for two senior ladies. We have lived and worked in downtown Toronto for all our working years, but we have never visited the lovely Windsor Arms. We had the opportunity as I had a medical appointment downtown and decided we would try it out. We saw the Tea Room as we entered and decided then and there that we would visit in the future for tea. The Gatsby Room was very nice, and we were pleasantly seated. Our waiter was attentive & polite....
The lobby and the restaurant are beautiful and worth visiting just for that. The food looked land tasted good. I think my pasta had a problem as I barely made it home before it had its undesired effect on my stomach. We did try to order dessert and after the server went off to order it, we were told that there were no desserts available. Literally no desserts - weird??? The server was good until it came time to order dessert then pay the bill. I had called Gatsby to tell them...
