Went for the noodles and always happily satisfied. Try their signature Lan Zhou noodles. You can ask for spicy or you can skip the heat. Choose your type of noodle. I usually opt for the narrow thick thick (like al dente spaghetti and has a great chew). Beef brisket and beef tendon noodles are also delicious.
I always get the Special Lanzhou beef noodles. One of my fav hand pulled noodle spots in Toronto.I recommend getting the chili oil on the side and add as you go. It ends up being pretty numbingly spicy near the end
I ordered Braised Beef Tendon Noodles ( only available from Fri-Sun ). The portion was so big for a small person like me. As it was so good so I still finished eating the whole bowl. The restaurant is very clean and the server was very friendly. Highly recommended!
Been meaning to check this place out for quite some time and glad I finally went in! Great pricing and quality! The XL was huge! Will be back again soon!
Very friendly and quick service considering how busy the restaurant was with takeout/delivery orders. The noodles ? and dumplings ? were fresh and delicious.
This is a cute spot to eat in the east end. Why they have country music playing in the restaurant is beyond me... However, the food was great. Large servings for noodle bowls, flavourful and you can get extra chili sauce on the side for some added heat. Pricing was very fair for what you got. I will definitely be returning here!
The Ambience was nice, The Food was excellent and the Service was okay. We didn't have a waiter so the owner or the head chef had to come attend us from time to time since there was only a kid there to take care of us. Our wait time was 15 minutes for the Beef Noodles with pickled cabbage (I ordered it to be extra spicy with tons of chili sauce) and shrimp show mein. The proportions were perfect with the chow mein but the Noodle soup was too much for one person to be honest, not complaining. The Flat noodle tomato and egg soup came after 45 minutes, since it needed to be made from scratch, so I would not recommend ordering it. We also had the BBQ pork but it was too dry for me, only some dry spices sprinkled over pork BBQ, I would not recommend it at all.
Delicious food but terrible service. Spills our appetizer onto the table and doesn’t say anything, not really a big deal. My girlfriends food comes out first. I eventually ask if mine is coming and they say it’s on the way. There are only two other tables who came in after we ordered and they start getting their meals. A couple Uber eats orders come out of the kitchen but still nothing. Me and my girlfriend try waving the server down, she makes eye contact and pretends she didn’t see us lol. At this point my girlfriends finishing her meal and I tell the server we’re going just got to pay for what we received and leave. She starts saying no they already started cooking it… I get mistakes and delays happen but not once was there any apology or proper explanation, just a rude response back. Awful customer service.
Second time ordering here, and it truly does not disappoint!Noodles are perfectly cooked every time, great amount of spice, and the beef… is just so tender! Super fresh and excellent value for money. Thank you!
The food was delicious and the server was kind.We got the Braised Beef Tendon w medium thick noodle and the Noodles w Homemade Pork Sauce.I can't give 5 stars though, because it took a long time to get our delicious meal, and they came at different times so my partner ended up eating while I sat on my phone. It was not the same case for all tables though, so take my experience with a grain of salt. The food was great!Try the unique teas!We had Hong Kong Milk tea and Chrysanthemum tea and both were very nice.
Kid-friendliness: There were booths or chair options which is nice, not sure about highchairs but a young boy next to us was having a blast and liked the smoothie.

The place is a little small but cozy, service sometimes could be slow, the noodle soups are big so, if you are not a big eater, you better split one soup with someone else. They offer different kind of soups, they have one with shrimp that is really good. They also have dumplings and dry noodle dishes as well as a small grill selection.
My go-to beef noodle soup for the cold days. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup (narrow thick noodles) is excellent. Good value, tasty and fast service.
My second time to try out this place, first restaurant I head out while I arrive toronto. Friendly service and I would say the top level of hand-pulled noodle. Really enjoy the soup and their high quantity beef. Hope they can open one on Ottawa lol
WOWWWWWWWWW THAAAAT'S THE STUFF!!!Come here and get a multitude of flavour explosions!!!?? Small and comfy looking place. You might have to wait a week bit but it is so worth it! The people there are really nice and the food is Incredible!!! Authentic written all over it!!! We are definitely going back!!!! We had the tomato with egg and chicken soup and the braised beef and medium flat noodles, the pan fried dumplings and braised beef ribs. The meat is super tender, everything works together flawlessly, brilliant flavours, the soup is rich and a truckload of flavour but nothing outshines the other. The flavours compliment each other blend together in a merger unlike no other!! Just incredible!!!??
The food was fantastic! We had the spice beef brisket soup with hand pulled noodles and it was delicious. The seating area was a little cold - we had to keep our coats on
