Good food and great service but I booked the reservation and stated I didn't want the prix fixe (you could choose on Open table if you wanted regular or that) and they only had a $250 a person prix fixe. I've had many multi course dinners so my response to given this a low grade is purely that the quality and value was not up to par. It didn't help that we were forced into the prix fixe when I originally had looked at the menu prior and had dishes I specifically wanted but now was not able to get. The food was good, but nothing at all memorable and not up to par for a 4$ Michelin recommended restaurant. The service was great at least.

The food was truly exceptional and beautifully presented. However there were issues with the front of house organization. Course were served a little too quickly and the wine for the main entree was missed even though a reminder was given to the server. It was a busy night and undoubtedly a challenge. We will definitely be back but we were a little disappointed. To be clear the servers were invariably pleasant and polite and seemed distressed when they realized they had missed the wine. They seemed pulled in many directions at once.

George is our favourite restaurant for special occasions. The tasting menu is a must. Every single dish is presented like a work of art and the flavours are extraordinary. The ingredients in each dish come together like a symphony in your mouth. The tasting menu can be modified for any food preferences or allergies which my family really appreciates. Finally, the level of service is excellent. The staff are very warm and friendly and are focused on making the night memorable for you.

This was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I have dined in a number of Michelin starred restaurants in Europe and this experience ranked with the best of them. The chef is truly talented. The service and ambience were lovely. Wish I had the option to give it more stars!!

Had a three course winterlicious dinner here and I have to say that I'm disappointed by all of them. The overall experience was also very unpleasant, beat up cutleries, smoky dining area, unprofessional servers, etc.

Food is awful, service was great and also we add foie gras it was like 25 bucks and it cost more than 200 dollars in total. The winterlicious is not worth the price!

Outstanding quality and beautiful setting. Winterlicious was great value. We also opted for awine pairing with our meal, which I highly recommend. Not sure why George is only Michelin recommended as the food is just a good if not better than other Michelin rated restaurants. I used a butter knife to cut my beef as it was so tender. Overall delicious and well worth it!

Had a high expectation. Food was focused on presentation than flavour. Service was top notch. But when offering bread for the table, should've mentioned it wasn't complimentary.

We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner during Winterlicious. The staff were attentive, kind, professional and knowledgeable. They were accommodating of the dietary needs of one of our party, which was appreciated. The highlight for me was a delicious Beef Tartare, the best I have ever enjoyed. I will definitely return to George in the future.

Service was outstanding, attentive and discrete, exceptional. The food was remarkable, beautiful flavours blended with textures and colour to make it more then a taste sensation but a visual delight as well. Highly recommend for any occassion.

The food was great and the environment is just delightful. However the service leaves a bit to be desired. The server was kind of rushing through the meal and he did not address my partner directly when asking if she needs anything to drink, which is quite odd.

The food here is fantastic, but the service left me with mixed feelings. The trout with I think persimmon slice? was spot on, the tenderloin was great, and the sponge cake dessert was a lovely surprise—moist and not too sweet, perfect dessert for winter with the perfect balance of sweetness. However, the service didn't match that quality. The hostess made us wait in awkward silence and missed our booked menu. We all wore heavy jackets but no coat check was offered, good thing that we had one empty seat to place them. Also, when I found a crack in my glass after my main course, the waiter replaced it without a single word of apology or acknowledged the safety issue (it's a tiny crack tho but still very visible). Great food, but the staff sometimes feels a bit indifferent. Would definitely come back for the food.

Loved the starters squash miso bisque and beet tapenade. The mains - the duck confit and salmon were excellent. So were the desserts. Wine pairing chosen by Chris who was friendly, very knowledgeable and well versed in his craft. Good service and nice ambience.

This classic spot remains a favorite for a reason... even their Winterlicious offering was top-notch in every way...
