To say that Gia elevates dining is an understatement. What will genuinely surprise you is their ability to elevate vegetables and vegetarian food to a completely new level. Chef Miriam and the staff at Gia is doing magic and making each dish sing.
The space itself is beautiful. If you're lucky to grab a table in the front during the sunset, you'll be bathed in the warm glow as you sit among a romantic and refined atmosphere. The exposed brick and warm tones create this inviting tone to the evening.
Service is attentive, kind, and warm. They're often coming around to ensure every bite is delicious and they're very good at offering their perspective on what's a favourite to try and explore.
As for the food, it's incredibly delicious. It takes an artistic and skilled hand to make simple vegetables sing. Chef Miriam does it so easily and consistently that it easily makes Gia a stand out to return over and over.
Her beet dish is beautifully plated with bright colours and bold flavours that teases out the earthy sweetness of the beets and compliments the brighter punchier acidity of the dressing. Her cavatelli pasta is just perfectly al dente and had a nice spice note to compliment the mildy bitter rapini and bright lemon note. The vegan sausage was a nice savoury note to the dish. We also enjoyed the very meaty seared lion's mane ... it's amazing how flavourful it was.
Overall, you can enjoy this dinner on many levels and it's easy to see it being a top favourite of mine. Great service, beautiful atmosphere, and incredibly stunning plates of delicious food.

Took my vegan friend here for her birthday and it was perfect!! I am not vegan or vegetarian but found the food so flavourful and delicious. We went on a Saturday for lunch and the service was great. You must try their butternut squash cheesecake! I will definitely be coming back.

Gia is a full vibe with tons of vegan options! Love the Meatballs, Baby Gem Salad and the Risotto especially. Also more recently the Cavatelli and the Sweet Potato Cheesecake. Gia has such a unique wine list and innovative cocktails. Highly recommend making a reso as this place books up quick.

Atmosphere is solid. Restaurant did a poor job of communicating policy surrounding automatic gratis and split bills. Food was disappointing even for a vegan restaurant

Went there on a date with my partner. When our server heard I was struggling with a headache, she turned the music down!! We ordered one appetizer two entrees and one dessert and shared everything. Everything was to be savoured. We were surprised by its affordability being a Michelin star restaurant.
Some of the best food I've had. Be sure to make a reservation as there is not much seating. Make sure to get the red fife focaccia!

Plant forward Italian was a unique take. The food was great with some interesting spins on classic items. Pasta was done perfectly al dente and the sauce coated it well.

Had a great experience at Gia! The food was delish. Atmosphere is clean and cozy and the service was great. We tried many dishes that were all good. I liked the whipped ricotta especially. The plant based salmon is worth a try but it was a bit dry.
Vegetarian options: This is a plant based restaurant with delicious vegan and vegetarian options

Highly recommend! Came here to celebrate my birthday and we were very impressed. The meatballs were delicious and the eggplant parmesan was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had. Their tiramisu was amazing too! While I’m a vegetarian, my boyfriend eats meat, and he was very satisfied with his meal! The interior is beautiful and I love that it was open concept with the kitchen. I will definitely revisit to try their other menus.
