I've been familiar with this traditional Portuguese bakery for a couple of years, although I don’t live nearby to visit frequently. During my recent visit, I tried the bola de Belém, which was good but a little dry. However, the pastel de Belém was truly amazing! I've sampled several, and these were among the best—crisp and fresh. Yummy!

Stopped by here for the first time today to get a quick breakfast sandwich. Knew nothing about it just needed something in the area. The ladies working were lovely. I got a breakfast sandwich with cheese, bacon and egg on an English muffin and it was exactly what I needed. Lots of thick bacon on it, and a good amount of cheese and it didn’t taste or look like plasticy processed cheese. I would have had a photo but I devoured it before I had the chance to snap a picture.
