My friends and I were in Toronto for a fundraising event, and decided to get dinner at Gully. All four of us agreed that the food was delicious! I had the butter chicken and I got a mocktini. Both were great and the butter chicken was immensely flavorful.
We were very happy with the service as well. We wanted to try the Indian Street Corn appetizer, and were initially told that it was a seasonal item and it was unfortunately no longer available. However, the owner came over after and told us he had just gone to a market and found fresh corn! We knew after that appetizer that the rest of the meal was going to be great. There’s a reason it’s one of their most popular dishes.
I would recommend making a reservation. We reserved a time for Saturday night and overheard them telling other customers that they were booked for the night. This restaurant is well worth a visit!

One of the best Indian restaurants in downtown. Must try things - momos, avocado tartlets, Upma fries, burgers, and Kathi rolls. The taste resonates with some of the best street food that I have had in India. And the staff and chef are very nice folks.

Flavourful and light Indian food! Loved that the dishes weren’t too spicy or heavy, making for an interesting and enjoyable meal. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh. Only suggestion would be to increase the portion size a bit, but overall, I really liked it!

Us friends for over 40 years in Canada arrived at this gem in downtown for a comedy night.
Nalin Mehra, the owner and chef is absolutely a gentleman and a great chef.
The food was fabulous with a Delhi touch and each bite had a tantalizing taste.
It would be so unfair not to talk about the host "Kash". I am sure her name is Kaswinder, but not sure. Her attitude and service was excellent. She was very pleasant.
A must go restaurant.
Nalin, you are a gully boy :)

Went here recently for a birthday party. Not only was the food excellent and delicious the service was even more outstanding. We had children in the party. They were nice enough to cater to the children and dial down the spice level on their food. Whereas most places charge us to bring our own cake and serve it, Gully did not do that. They also went above and beyond by adding powdered sugar, caramel, and gold leaf to the plating of the cake we brought. Will definitely be back.

Quite late as I was travelling. My girlfriend and I went on September 19 to celebrate a birthday. We had a deal we found online. We will totally come here again of our own volition - don't get it twisted, the deals they offer online are incredible. The food was well-timed being brought out for the kitchen. The lamb was TO DIE FOR. Oh, my, goodness. We ordered a couple of beverages and we bought some food for the tyke. The chicken was also great, so was the avocado appetizer, however, the lamb stole the show. Great service and vibe, kick arse food.

High end street food restaurant!
It’s kind of expensive for the street food options.

We went to Gully for late dinner last night. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely decor and vibey music. The service was amazing, very attentive. The owner was the one serving us, and you could tell he was passionate about sharing the flavours of his hometown. He took the time to give us recommendations and answer our questions. The food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp ghee roast (spicy) and the pani puri. It was our first time trying pani puri and we were so glad to have tried it! It is an explosion of flavours and textures in your mouth. Delicious Gully lager beer too! We will definitely be back.

We had a really good time at Gully. Nalin, the owner/chef has a big heart and his passion is evident in the enthusiasm with which he welcomes each guest. We tried the kiwi pineapple pani puri, Bengali fish curry, laccha paratha and a side of rice. The food was balanced, great flavours and decent potions. Music was a bit loud for my liking but created a loungey vibe.
We will return to try some other items next time! All the best with your venture and for adding your special twist to our wonderful cuisine.
