Had a fantastic time trying “Tiana’s special” date night menu. Highly recommend the corn tartlets and tandoori chicken wings for appetizers; packed with flavour!! HIGHLY recommend the lamb shank curry; the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavour! The butter chicken was also great! We also tried the Gully’s Tres Leches and it was a fantastic way to end the night! The chef/owner is a very cool and kind guy. 10/10 experience!

I’m Indian and I’ve been 4 times. Very good, interesting, creative Indian food. The owner is wonderful — he is often your server and he is oozing with enthusiasm about his food. Menu is constantly changing giving you reason to return 2-3 times per year. Very good cocktails too! Overall a wonderful toronto restaurant in a convenient location. Looking forward to my 5th visit.

Interesting, experimental fusion-ish Indian street fare. Enthusiastic owner cum chef. A great bar with an unexpectedly large collection of Indian imports. A small space that presumably gets noisy during the weekend, but we were not there during the weekend. Recommended if you are in the university neighbourhood

My friend and I visited this place on Sunday evening, the resturant was quite and ambiance was nice as well. They had nice rage of whiskeys, we tried Indri there, then we ordered their avacado dip and chips, it was really worth trying, then we ordered Panner Makhni momos, the taste of the gravy was delicious, and at last they modified their Kathi roll for us and they put a paneer stuffing inside which was very filling and the paneer was very soft. We really recommend this place who are looking for chef curated indian menu. All tastes were very balanced.

My friends and I were in Toronto for a fundraising event, and decided to get dinner at Gully. All four of us agreed that the food was delicious! I had the butter chicken and I got a mocktini. Both were great and the butter chicken was immensely flavorful.
We were very happy with the service as well. We wanted to try the Indian Street Corn appetizer, and were initially told that it was a seasonal item and it was unfortunately no longer available. However, the owner came over after and told us he had just gone to a market and found fresh corn! We knew after that appetizer that the rest of the meal was going to be great. There’s a reason it’s one of their most popular dishes.
I would recommend making a reservation. We reserved a time for Saturday night and overheard them telling other customers that they were booked for the night. This restaurant is well worth a visit!

One of the best Indian restaurants in downtown. Must try things - momos, avocado tartlets, Upma fries, burgers, and Kathi rolls. The taste resonates with some of the best street food that I have had in India. And the staff and chef are very nice folks.

Flavourful and light Indian food! Loved that the dishes weren’t too spicy or heavy, making for an interesting and enjoyable meal. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything tasted fresh. Only suggestion would be to increase the portion size a bit, but overall, I really liked it!
