Grabbed dinner here on a Tuesday night while up from Halifax for work and honestly wasn't expecting to be this blown away by sushi in a strip on Bloor. The chef recommended the seared miso black cod and it practically melted, way better than anything back home. Staff kept checking in without being pushy, and they even squeezed us in around 7pm without a reservation on a weeknight. I have been a patron of this Toronto sushi staple for 16 years so some may say this review is overdue. In that time, this spot has remained affordable, quick, and quality has been consistent. The menu is extensive but not overly complicated and they accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions.
