I like that the kitchen is open and you can see the chefs preparing the food. The waitstaff are attentive. The food is good, but did not leave me and my boyfriend feeling satisfied. I love the mushroom pasta, but the price is a bit high for the amount you get.

the waitress who got my order and the waiter who gave my bill were great. the person who was initially at the reception at the entrance said he'll check my reservation eventhough i told him i got one and left and didn't get back to me and saw him setting up tables. then the person who brought my order didn't say anything and just put my plate in front of me. it would have been better if he said this is the food you ordered xxx or anything at all. would definitely help if everyone's level of service was consistent. :)

Dine here! Everything was fantastic. We had the margarita pizza, branzino, tiramisu, and chocolate pudding. Everything was wonderful - the staff were lovely which was the cherry on top.

Gusto 101 is a fantastic Italian restaurant. My only advice is if you want a quieter setting, insist on the main dining area downstairs. The upstairs dining area is beautiful with its large open windows. However, it is quite noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation.

What would make this place better . Server fantastic ! Bartender took soooo long to make an aperol spritz server said she was getting ice ?!? It was 12 noon bar should be prepped an ready to go! Olive oil and chili flakes served with pizza would have been nice if they offered - as well as I would love to see warm olives on menu as they are offered at 501 . Nice easy appetizer to share . Washrooms were difficult for my mom and she's not old or hard of seeing dark hallway and no where in washroom to put purse down to fix make up ! Helpful hints if you always are looking to improve !

The ambiance was quite loud, and we sat by the window on the second floor. We enjoyed a delectable cavolo salad mafaelde ai funghi and the polipo. Our waiter was pleasant. Overall, the food was excellent, but the noise level was excessive.

Had a reservation and got seated right away. Server took our orders fairly quickly. We ordered drinks, appetizers and main meal. Drinks arrived and within two minutes, our appetizers arrived. Didn't even finish the appetizers and the main meal arrived. It was very rushed. Food was superb. Caesar salad is huge and more than enough for two people. Wish we had known it was that big and would have split it instead of each ordering one. It was very busy for a Monday night.
I went there during happy hour and the truffle cream pasta was absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. We ordered 2 pastas and 1 focaccia and were both full. The pasta's truffle flavour was greater than expected, especially considering it was $16, and the focaccia was perfect. Not too dry, not too greasy, with the perfect amount of saltiness. Will definitely come back again.

We're regulars at Gusto 101 (usually once a month!) and always love the vibe and food. Last night had a few hiccups with slower service and an auto tip added for our group of six, which surprised us, but we know this place usually delivers and we'll definitely be back.
