Our waiter was 10/10! The service and all the help with my team was great! Thanks for the help

The food and service are always top notch at Gusto. Our party had the arancini and meatballs to start, a Diavola pizza, a burger, and a salad with chicken. Everything was perfect, as it usually is at Gusto. Also great service. Would highly recommended.

Food was amazing, it was extremely noisy though and could barely speak with my friend. Prices are ok, cocktails are pretty good and to my surprise not watered down like the rest of Toronto.

Delicious! Ordered the popular Mafalde and it was very good. The ambience is nice and service was good. Would come back again to try other things.

I'm a loyal OpenTable user and have always loved this restaurant, which is why I chose it for an important client dinner. While the food was, as always, excellent, I've never felt so rushed during a dining experience. From the moment we sat down, we were hurried to place our orders, and at times, drinks were nearly taken from our hands before we were finished. The service felt cold and unwelcoming — our server avoided eye contact and was difficult to approach throughout the evening. It left me feeling embarrassed, especially as I had chosen this spot to host a valued client. I truly believe in the potential of this restaurant and hope this feedback can help improve the balance between efficiency and hospitality for future guests.

Pricey place for mediocre food but the atmosphere here was great and they had a huge wine selection. People recommended the rose, but I preferred their selection on white.

I love coming to gusto as a Toronto local for Italian food. Service is always great and nothing beats $1/1ounce house wine. Reservations are recommended but I was able to walk in for a dinner service with almost no wait time on a Monday night for a table of 4.

The tiramisu was wonderful — smooth and creamy! The pasta portions seemed a bit small but both the rigatoni and funghi dishes were cooked perfectly al dente and had good flavour. The diavolo pizza was a bit on the saltier side but still yummy.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. Horrible server (Tyrell P.); he was rude, unprofessional, and had attitude constantly! I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, but this was the first time I’ve ever encountered such horrible customer service. Not only did he barely listen to us, he also yanked the machine from us after paying and rudely put the receipts on our table.

The least you could do working in an industry like this is give a satisfactory to excellent service, given the expensive price we paid and the dark and loud ambience. Disappointing.

This is a really great place for delicious Italian food with a great vibe. It’s always a fun time here. If you haven’t tried the Mafalde ai Funghi pasta, you must. It’s basically their signature pasta dish. The Cavolo Caesar is also the best salad on the menu.
Tonight we had the Calamari Fritti, , Cavoletti di Bruxelles, the homemade focaccia, Mafalde ai Funghi, Risotto ai Funghi, and Tiramisu.
Everything was made to perfection as usual. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal.

Phenomenal food and a ton of natural light - I’m not huge on pasta, but the carbonara was top notch

Delicious Italian food in the city. I always go for the Margherita pizza, mafalde ai funghi and kale Caesar salad. It is a low lit restaurant adding to the ambiance and is very spacious with 2 floors and a patio out front. The service is pretty good but the star is definitely the food. It’s always a classic that never disappoints in quality. Overall, a great spot in the city to get your Italian fix in.

Great food.
The mushroom pasta is def worth the hype. Tiramisu was like a fluffy cloud.
Their reservation system said there were no tables available at 5.30 but when we arrived at 5 the upstairs was empty. We were rushed and asked to leave at 6.45pm even though there were empty tables in the room.
The hostess upstairs needs some customer service training. So much attitude!!

Usually I love it here but this time we came for a birthday. Group of 8 so we got hit with the 20% auto gratuity and it seemed like the waiter got his tip and didn’t care. The food was amazing as always. The spicy margarita was horrible, didn’t even drink it and the waiter never checked in to see if it was alright. we brought a cake and they “served it all” no leftovers, which is fine but… service was a bust unfortunately
