Gyoko Sushi offers great service and delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment. The restaurant features a decor that looks like a sea shanty, creating a cozy atmosphere. The food offerings are pretty good with relative pricing to being on the Danforth. Their sushi's were really good, including the Danforth spicy sushi roll, which is freshly made and flavorful. The Takeout Lunch Beef teriyaki bento is super yummy and a tasty meal, offering good value. The restaurant serves always fresh tasting salmon with perfect rice texture and good flavor. The owners and staff are friendly, kind, and provide great service. The space has good size aisles and booths with decent leg room, and the bathroom is large enough to maneuver in. The waitresses are helpful, especially with wheelchair access, although the bathroom is not accessibility-equipped. Overall, Gyoko Sushi is a nice spot to go when craving sushi.
