I ordered from Gyoko Sushi via Uber Eats. The food was pretty good - however, I was disappointed that they decided to charge me an additional $5 (nearly 20%) to substitute an avocado roll for a cucumber roll in the vegetarian maki combo set (which was necessary due to me having an avocado allergy, which I indicated in the order). Since when do cucumbers cost more than avocados??? I will not be ordering from here again for that reason.

I visited gyoko sushi few weeks ago midweek and was very happy with my order overall. The soft shell crab was the highlight of my meal (nicely decorated as well). I am not sure if the chef changed but I ordered the same soft shell crab a few months ago and it wasn’t that great but I gave it another try this time. I will be visiting middle of the week from now in hopes for the same chef to make it delicious again. The waitress was pleasant.

The food is on the pricier side, but the portions and presentation make up for it. Everything i’ve tried tastes perfect.
