I can’t give 5 stars due to the pork cutlets was so hard to chew.

Order pork cutlets with omelette rice.

Curry was tasty, omelette is very soft.
Comes with small clear soup also tasty.

Pork cutlets look so good but it was so hard and dry. Probably fried too long, look at the colour of pork is so brown.
I couldn’t chew or bite it by my teeth so I only ate couple pieces.

We ordered chicken katsu, popcorn chicken and karaage. It fulfilled the craving and was good enough. There is definitely better chicken in Toronto though.

The server was lovely. The space was clean and well maintained.

I had such a lovely time at Gyugyuya again — it instantly brought me back to my uni days! The food was comforting as always, rich and full of flavor, and the cozy vibe made me feel right at home. Nothing beats that classic curry aroma in downtown Toronto 🍛💛
