The best fish in town with a Halal batter (no beer)
I highly recommend this place 👌
It was my favorite fish and chips in the city 12 years ago...but now it is a decent choice for your occupational haddock cravings you might have!
I’ve been eating fish and chips since I was three years old and this has been the very best fish I’ve had in my 59 years of being alive
A classic establishment for greasy good fish and chips. I like the cod. Seating is outdoors. Great for takeout. Try the lemonade.
Was there on Saturday for lunch. I got the cod and it didn’t disappoint. The fish and the batter were flavorful and the fish was moist. The batter felt very light and not greasy. I usually take the halibut (which is always great) but this time I decided to go with the cod. It was a very nice compromise for quality/price. The fries were excellent. Although there is no table service, the staff was extremely friendly in our interactions.
I’ve been going for years and I will continue going there. I highly recommend it.
Just be aware that there is only outside seating and the space is limited.
My girlfriend and I had the haddock, which was excellent. The batter was surprisingly flavourful and cooked to crispy perfection. The coleslaw was nothing special but good enough. Our only complaint was the tartar sauce, which was sweet and tasted like relish.
Be aware that outside seating is very limited and there is no indoor seating.
Overall, this is a great little spot.
Halibut and chips was bomb. Go to fish and chips spot downtown.
Should’ve listened to reviews , the most disgusting fish and chips I have ever had, go on facebooks woodys Canadian eats see review complete with videos S and see the videos and pics of the worst fish and chips
Good Fish.
Overpriced and overly greasy breaded chicken wings (no sauce) with a side of ranch is what you get when you order ranchy wings. Honestly, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

1. Must try haddock
I ordered chicken wings and fries at fish and chips, it was so good with the mayo. Also I have to mention that the wings and fries are so hot and crispy, perfect food for the perfect weather.
Great food ! Mouthwatering
I tried halibut fish and chips. Must try fish.
The most amazing crispy and juicy chicken wings around the town
This place looked scary but we didn’t want to judge a book by its cover so one of us walked in as the cook was walking out with a bucket of something that looked horrible and he dumped it on the side. I felt like I was in a cartoon scene because my friend got in the car and I sped off .
