Absolutely delicious traditional Polish breakfast. My kids loved everything, they said it was the best breakfast they have ever had.

Really homie little Polish diner style restaurant. Very warm and welcoming staff. Came in for a quick little coffee and a breakfast. Had their riff of a full breakfast. Everything was delicious especially the traditional potato pancakes which were out of this world. I definitely plan on going back to try some of their traditional Polish lunch items like cabbage rolls and pierogies.

Delicious perogies and schnitzel on a fresh bun, served by a friendly waitress. We washed it down with a Polish lager and took home two paczki (jelly filled donuts) which were great!

This place is amazing! A family runned diner/restaurant, very chill, really good home cooked food. We had assorted pierogis, pork schnitzel sandwich and cabbage roll. Everything was delicious! We had a great sunday lunch.

Hastings is a neighbourhood gem and one of the best restaurants in Toronto, hands down. From the cosy, kitschy (in the best way) atmosphere to the friendly, easy-going staff and great service to the INCREDIBLE homemade food. Oh, and the coffee is amazing. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

The best Polish gem in the east end. So grateful for a top quality spot to satisfy all my Polish savoury and sweet cravings!

Great spot, amazing polish food. Shared the daily special (pork schnitzel) and Hungry Tata’s lunch, all delicious. I will be back again.

Hastings is our favourite polish food in the city. It’s a cozy neighbourhood little restaurant with delicious home made food. Our favourite is the hungry tata’s lunch and the doughnuts that they serve on weekends but can’t go wrong with any of it!
Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair that makes eating on the little patio accessible if you are coming with a young one

Hastings Snack Bar is an excellent little restaurant off Queen Street in Leslieville. It's something of a hybrid between a diner and a Polish restaurant. There aren't too many good Polish restaurants in Toronto, so it was a pleasure to try this place out.
The breakfast is delicious, served with eggs, homemade sausage, bacon, potato pancakes, seasoned tomatoes and cucumbers, and buttered bread. Everything was really tasty, with the sausage and eggs being personal highlights. My partner also had pierogis which she said were really outstanding.
This is a great spot, come by and bring an appetite!
