Don’t go there! The owner literally doesn’t want you to. I called to place an order and he said he isn’t taking phoned-in orders. Cool, I thought I’d show up in person. I arrive, I walk in and he claims he’s “open” but can’t take my order. Why? Because he’s busy doing catering. The only way I can eat is if I order via Door Dash, to which he adds “yeah and that could take a long time and they might even cancel it”. So you may (or may not) be able to serve me using Door Dash but not while I’m right in front of you. Make that make sense! Ridiculous lack of customer service.If you’re too busy with catering or can’t or don’t want to serve customers, just do yourself and everyone else a favour and mark your business as either closed on Google or catering only.

Ordered the basics, souvlaki and a wrap - this is the blandest greek food I've personally ever had. Fries are fresh cut which is nice, pita was nice - nothing else was nice - and it's very expensive for what you get.

Stumbled across this place this week while running errands in Kensington Market , easily one of the best finds in the city. The outside was a bit intimidating at first but I’m really happy I decided to go in. I had the chicken Souvlaki dinner and it turned out to be the BEST Chicken Souvlaki I’ve ever had. As someone who watches my food be prepared with a close eye, I can tell that the owner really cares about how he prepares the food. He put the chicken on the grill and the smell of the seasoning instantly made my mouth water! This chicken was prepared with LOVE! I’m so excited to go back next week and try the grilled chicken wrap and Halloumi!***UPDATE***Finally made it back for the chicken wrap, solid 10/10! I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed every bite of my food. I didn’t ask for any alterations as I wanted to try the wrap as is and I’m so glad I did. The recipe is well balanced, the ingredients really complement one another. You taste a different flavour with every bite. Absolutely worth the hour commute from Etobicoke for me. The owner was so nice, he remembered me from my last visit. I personally love when I visit a restaurant and they remember me! I will be back for sure.
If I order a wrap through Uber Eats and it is still wildly delicious even after 25 minutes of delivery, I think we can agree these guys can cook. Reasonable prices and every meal is fresh and tasteful. Will def be coming in-person soon!

ordered catering from Hector's Taverna and the food and service was fantastic!!!
Tried Hectors Taverna for the first time and it was excellent. Had the platter with chicken was juicy and was marinaded throughout. The Haloumi is the standout dish and is a must when ordering from Hector's.
