Great place
Sadly, it closed down a few weeks ago. So we could not experience all the great things we've been told.
This is a great spot with decently sized portions and great drink options. The dining room is small so make a reservation.
Always a great experience! The food was superb as usual. However, I’ve noticed that the cider selection for flights has become a bit less exciting over time.
This post is long overdue! My children took me here for my birthday last year. The food was unique and very tasty.
What stood out to me was that one of the employees (or it could have been the manager) overheard my kids saying “it’s your birthday, we are treating you, get what you want.” When we finished our meal, and left the restaurant, he ran after us with a gift bag and a mug as a birthday gift. I was so pleasantly surprised. It was so unexpected. I have never had a restaurant do this. It’s usually a small desert portion or something like that. Never an actual gift!
Thank you so much!
The food was very good. Unfortunately it is closing. The reason i gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that their non alcoholic choices were not great. This day in age small batch breweries and cider houses are the best place to get non alcoholic drinks.
We ordered 3 different cider flights, the shishito peppers, ricotta stuffed squash, and crispy brussel sprouts. Everything was beautifully balanced in flavour. We weren’t sure about which ciders to order for our flights but our waiter was very helpful in helping us select based on our preferences.
Great staff, lovely food and cider selection. I had to dock 2 stars because the vegan chocolate cake is genuinely the worst cake I’ve ever had in my life. The bottom was burnt. The cake tasted more like salt than chocolate. It had a texture that was both tough and gritty. All for $13 made it kind of a slap in the face of an otherwise lovely meal. Please fix this item, gang. It’s awful.
Had a great night here celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday! The ricotta squash were my favourite.
Nice friendly service, some nice and innovative dishes (fried maple leaves!!). Really enjoyed it

The food was like plane food or hotel food. Incredibly bland. There was no understanding of the interplay between salt, sweetness, acidity and umami. It’s what you might expect from a culinary school student. We had the ricotta stuffed squash, rigatoni and flat iron steak. Dishes came swimming in brownish sauce or watery mashed potato purées. Just not good. Maybe if you’re really interested in cider. We thought for the prices they were charging that we could expect some quality food but no. Foodies be warned. Go elsewhere.
Went here for brunch. Definitely the best French Toast I've had, perfect balance of classy and indulgent.
Staff is so kind, amazing food, great atmosphere. Max the bartender is super cool, I broke a wine glass and it was so embarrassing but Max was super chill. Highly recommend this spot, especially the rigatoni and the creme brûlée.

The food was par at best! We ordered the buttermilk chicken, steak, roasted brussels spouts, gnocchi and fries. The sides were good, nothing too special. The mains were “shareable sizes” however the buttermilk chicken was not fresh (seems like it was refried in old oil) and the steak was ok.

Always an excellent experience and many tasteful food choices at Her Father’s. This review is to commend Josh for taking the time and going the extra mile to accommodate arranging a gift certificate for my daughter’s upcoming birthday while I was out of town. Very professional, courteous, and responsive and his support was greatly appreciated when the website process ran into a glitch. Thank you Josh.
